- You gotta be able to stop if you gonna go fast!!!!
In this episode we get the brakes plumbed in -with some fetching hot pink Stainless braided lines from @helperformance , smash out some more aluminium sheet metal parts to hold the ECU etc and plenty of 'electrics....
Follow along as we transform a nailed old US Mail van into a tyre shredding weapon for Hellman mountain biker Bernard Kerr, here at our fully equipped custom car and hot rod shop in Cornwall, England.
Awesome progress mate, saw it on Monday! Can’t wait to see this thing out on the road! 🙌
Thanks dude! You best dig out that drone for some action shots!!!
Great work as always brother 🤙
Thanks hun xx 😘
Hey AutoStylUK! You hit hard line perfection like BK is doing all this week! Good job dude! Ride ride ride!
Ha yeah- I saw a clip of that gap - crikey!
Big fan of 'doing it nice' as opposed to just good enough - and I got served here! 😊
Thanks! A small bit of extra effort and care makes a disproportionately large difference to the end result- always seems worth that little bit extra to me!!!
Yesss. I was waiting. I have this same mail truck. all original. Im from Denver, Colorado USA. Your truck is my motivation. I want airbags etc... Lowrider like. Thank You for your videos.
Nice! Look forward to seeing yours done! Glad i’m providing some inspiration!
Fantastic progress and work. So much wiring (obviously)
Soooo much wiring 😂 Going to be well worth it when we fire up the Dakota digital gauges though 😎
@@AutostylUK Absolutely. Cannot wait to see that
@@gafrers not long now!!!
Heck yea another fantastic video I'm going to be stoked to see if on bk's daily videos.
Yeah it’ll be great to see him out there using it!
18:14 Damn, that is a nice touch. Good to see there still are people who care about details as well.
Thanks- end result is the sum of all the small details!
Great work as always Ant, As a plumber, I can really appreciate those new super neat copper brake lines! Good work 👏🏻
Thanks bud- yeah I hate seeing wavy hardlines!
Absolutely superb quality work👍
Thanks! It’s nice to do a nice job 👍
Great videos; i know you’re very busy & thank you for taking the time to create them. Can I ask what riv nut device you use please? Thank you.
its from www.dafra.co.uk - its great! My last one was a scissor type, but was often tricky to use because of access - this has been much more versatile!
Hi great episode can I ask were u got your rivnut installation tool .....thanks Jon.
Thanks! It’s from www.dafra.co.uk and I’m loving it so far! I used to have a master fix scissor action type- but this ratchet one suits my applications way better!
The Optima Red Top’s an interesting choice. Is it to provide a good strong first few turns on the BMW? And is it a good choice for big camper vans with bigger diesels?
It’s pretty comparable cca to the oem battery but physically much more compact, so fits in better. I run the same on my 3.0L om606 powered post van, and it works great. As for bigger engines and campervan suitability- it would really depend on engine size/draw whilst cranking etc.
Most eagerly awaited video series on TH-cam for me, so cool to see the progress you've made.
@@jurassic690 thank you! That’s epic- so pleased you and others are enjoying the progress reports!
What brand is that rivnut tool please
It’s from www.dafra.co.uk - very happy with it- suits my usage/applications much better than my old scissor type one.
@@AutostylUK Thanks, ye looks far better for tighter spaces than the scissor / lever type. I just came across this build. Initially I saw that 4x4 Fabrications were doing it but I assume that never worked out and you took over. 9 episodes to catch up on! There was talk of Darkside Developments tuning it initially, you should get in touch with them👍🏻
Yeah the ratchet style is way better in tight spots. The project was originally at Mahker, but for whatever reason that didn't work out. Nothing had actually been done to it when I went to pick it up so we had a nice blank canvas to work with. Hope you've enjoyed binging the previous episodes!
