Campark T45 camera - features and usage

The Campark T45 wildlife / trail camera is a model I use in my garden to film wildlife, mostly hedgehogs and badgers. This cameras was purchased by me, I have no sponsorship for this video. Apologies for the static on the audio especially in the last few seconds of this brief Campark T45 review!

Clips on this channel using the main T45 camera have "HOG8" as the camera code at the bottom of the frame. I have a second T45 camera for which a camera code has not been programmed. This camera is faulty and was replaced by the supplier with the camera that is labelled "HOG8", and I was told I didn't need to return the original. The fault on the original camera means that the IR LEDS frequently jam on once activated and very quickly drain the batteries down to nothing. It might be unreliable, but with the use of rechargeables it means I can occasionally get some useful footage from it without spending a fortune on batteries!

Surprised you have no comments - I found it an informative video but noticed at 3:12 it clearly says on the protective battery cover, 'Do not use rechargeables'. But you have done. Have you had any issues? TIA.

I had a lot of problem with spam comments and so changed the settings so all comments have to be approved. Alas, I don't always have time to check them before they expire!
The camera will take high-capacity rechargeables without a problem. Lower capacity rechargeables can cause problems. I did a video last year on powering wildlife cameras which can be found at th-cam.com/video/RaJ_wj_vGdI/w-d-xo.html which you might find helpful.

Will this camera record audio? The user's manual says that audio can be turned on/off in the menu setup screen.
