i'm 2 years late on this but i proposed to my now wife, in 2023 we travelled all the way newark to cape town and spent 9 days in cape town then travelled up to the Kruger National Park, after that we flew up to Nairobi Kenya and flew to Seychelles after that, truly a blessing to have such an amazing honeymoon!

@@JoeyDNetsfan there are some countries that have restrictions for people travelling from The Seyshelles and some other countries in the South Africa region, due to the new strain of Covid
That IFE looks exactly (to me at least) like those on the seatback of Hawaiian A330’s economy. Haven’t flown them in years due to Alaska nonstop to Lihue but those will always have nostalgia in my mind watching SpongeBob in the “Keiki section”. Also, “magic of TH-cam” I love that.
The ocean bungalows of the Maldives or Tahiti would be my dream honeymoon destination

When talking about flights to islands, I had a funny Spirit flight attendant. We were going to St. Thomas from Orlando on Thanksgiving Day 2021. She said in an accent, “Ladies and gentlemen, I know we are going to an island but please remember this is not a party bus. It is an airbus. Please do not consume your own alcohol… and don’t start dancing or congregating in our aisles.” That was a cool pun.

Just discovered your channel. Nice job on this and QSuite video. We honeymooned in Botswana, did Serengeti and Crater on separate trip. Also Seychelles and Madagascar on a combined trip. Loved Seychelles, Madagascar didn’t go so well. We leave 2/19 for Maldives flying same aircraft and QSuites as yourselves. Can not wait. Will be checking out more of your content soon.

Almost 20 years ago my hubby and I didnt really get a honeymoon but I am trying to convince him for an anniversary trip next summer to London my dream bucket list destination

Also you two enjoy all the future honeymoons you can cram in (same person of course), When you get a good spouse/travel partener hang on to her, also most of us guys marry above our pay scale anyway. Lost my travel partener of 56yrs last year, so enjoy every day to it's fullest.

Ultimate honeymoon for me would be Manila & a couple of days in Baguio City Philippines with a stop off in Guam for a couple of days along the way (a hidden gem of a US territory)......spent time in the Philippines many years ago when in the Air Force...but it was not in Manila....love the people, relaxed way of life....and the simplicity of things there...and of course the weather and scenery are an added bonus
What's cool is that Seychelles is near the Antipode (other side of world) of Phoenix my hometown

Looking at your meal on that 3 hour regional flight I thought back to my last regional flight on AA recently which of course had no IFE, no-WI-FI, a beverage service with a snack and that's it. Hard to believe you used to get a meal in economy on turboprop regional flights before 9/11 at least on Horizon.

Rarotonga Cook Islands is a great place. 15 Islands in total. The southern group are more accessible. The northern group take some planning. AITUTAKI is a must visit. The Seychelles are now off limits to Australia. Then again we still can't travel freely in our own country. Still. Cheers.
When you come South Africa, try the SAA lounge, it’ll change your idea of lounges in Africa!

My wife and I honeymooned in New Zealand and Samoa. Both were amazing but in terms of an ultimate honeymoon destination, it would be hard to go past Bora Bora.
Seychelles is better.
Taihiti though the Seychelles, Elba, Greek islands, and a few of the polynesian islands are close.

Anywhere that wasn’t a beach or a big city and didn’t require a covid vacation. Maybe a cabin on a lake or river, with fishing, swimming, and kayaking. We’ve been married 32 1/2 years and have yet to have one. We got married at the beginning of the first gulf war and the army doesn’t care about honeymoons. After a few years we started having kids and all vacations were family ones.
Well my honeymoon was California road trip from Los Angeles to San Francisco but would love to go to Maldives or st.lucia
This is a nice and those are great locations for a vacation, but you need to get out of there because there is a new covid variant that has started from South Africa. Hopefully you are back in America and just posted this video.

I would have to say while I would prefer an island destination for a honeymoon, anything with massive bats like that, regardless of what the eat is definitely putting it on my don’t list.
