      I can see how you were able to make this video on the ending. Its a sad truth about the world right now , War constantly happening. It was a different video for you in the beginning but I still enjoyed.

    It makes you wonder what future generations will think of when watching this show. People in 2050, 2100+ When we will all be dead. Our childrens childrens children.
    It also makes you wonder if any of the people in post war paradis were the descendants of any of the main cast members.

      Very true , or if humanity makes it lol with all this war talk about WW3 and the constant worry of nukes going off😭. I assume the descendants lived peaceful lives too and after that is when the bombing happens . That’s just what I think tho

    Earliest human skeletons had spearheads in their rib cages. Depends on definition of war, if you mean conflict, that's older than our species

      I just looked up wars specifically and found a whole website with resources . But I’m pretty certain there were conflicts like you are mentioning !

    Every time i watch your videos i feel as if you're speaking my mind. Everything you say is exactly what i thought of
    All this fighting and those wars are super unnecessary. Like what do you mean you killed innocent people and started a war because you wanted revenge over something that happened 50-200 years ago?? It all seems just so childish to me, why can't they just talk it over, forgive, move on and leave the civilians out of their problems

    • @hrgodspeed
      @hrgodspeed  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great minds think alike haha. But exactly wars are pretty ridiculous . We are born to live yet we have to fight to the point we take one’s life. I know I sound like a pacifist and war is sometimes necessary but it sucks all round especially for the innocent.

    One of the most trash ending of all time, how can anyone like this shit

    • @hrgodspeed
      @hrgodspeed  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well, a lot of people enjoyed it, for the reason I describe in the video. Honestly, I was scared being an anime only hearing the manga people say the ending was going to be shit but uh they got proved wrong. The anime community enjoyed the ending so you in the minority pal.

      @@hrgodspeed confirmation bias at work lol. characters Are retconed in the last 30 minutes of the story and the conclusion was just the authors own insecurities getting the better of him. Thats great maybe the majority liked it. That doesnt mean that the ending was narratively good, or that the majority of enjoyers even understand the story. If you would like to know more about why the ending is objectively bad writing then let me know.

    nah ending was garbage. characters are completly destroyed in the lst chapter. Going against what they stood for with a lsat second BS reason for it No build up to the switch, nothing. Biggest dissapointment of all time. People can like it, but it is not objectively good writing in the slightest, the ending destroys the beautiful story that was being told

    • @hrgodspeed
      @hrgodspeed  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Have to say you are one of the few who think like this so preach I guess lol. Personally enjoyed the ended with the majority of the people who watched . The writing is fine too seen worse . We got to see Eren break in front of his best friend and it was great to see his vulnerability . He couldn’t keep faking the stoicism lol.

      @@hrgodspeed You seem to keep bringin up the fact that because others like it that validates the story as a good one. That is literally confirmation bias, Eren Acts WAAYY out of character in chapter 139 and eveyone who likes the ending doens't think too hard about how out of left field it actually is, not to mention inconsistent. Mikasa was NEVER a love interest. On top of the way he cries about it goes in complete contrast to his character in every chapter that came before it. Not to mention the inconsitency for his reason for it all. There is too much to tackle in just a comment so again, if you'd like to have your opinion challenged i'd be happy to go into further detail

      @@juni0r427 bro what all I had to read was “Mikasa wasn’t a love interest” 😭😭 ain’t reading the rest. Plus don’t need anyone to validate the ending is good . I on my own believe the ending is good , at first it threw me off but everything makes sense . I have spoken

      @@hrgodspeed So you keep saying that I am providing nothing then just ignore the parts of my comment where I provide what I have an issue with lol so here is ONE of my reasons for the story being bad WITH context and chapter references. Just for you buddy. (assuming you actually read my comment this time)
      So before chapter 139 this is THE understanding of the story:
      1) Eren was doing the rumbling out of necesity, NOT because he just wanted to, or because ymir told him to...
      The Why
      - The outside nations didn't give him any other option AND eren realized the future couldn't be changed. Ex: his dissapointment to hizuru pulling out on helping for not getting to monopolize on the burst stone(EPISODE 69), other parts or marley using Paridis as the scape goat(EPISODE 87), The statement Willy Tyber made before dying, that would unite all the countries to ATTACK Paradis(EPISODE 64). These things show that Eren ONLY had 1 option to save his people which was a full-scale rumbling. Now pay attention to the fact that he feels HORRIBLE for commiting such an act of violence, this is in chapter 131 where in his SELF MONOLOGUE he reflects on how there was never a way to find peace with the other nations and how horrible he is about to be. He is literally crying at this fact, but he also knows that he can't accept a genocide of his people either.
      What chapter 139 does thats bad:
      In chapter 139 we get two reasons as why Eren did what he did (Which was a 80 percent rumbling). He says, "Ymir guided me to this point" and then says "I don't Know Why I did it" Firstly, we get two seperate contradictory reasons for our MAIN CHARACTER'S motivations. This is bad writing. Eren also says that his head is all messed up from the future, present and past. This is a copout answer to last minute BS like I mentioned earlier. Why is it BS? Because Eren never showed traits of his head being messed up from the past, present and future shit before this point, therefore this is bad writing. If this was a planned concept within the story, we would have seen concrete examples of this before the last chapter of the series. IF this was planned we would have seen this very evident in his SELF-MONOLOGUE IN CHAPTER 131 OR WHEN HE MANIPULATED HIS DAD INTO KILLIN THE RIESS FAMILY OR LITERALLY ANY POINT AT ALL BEFORE 139, but the issue is we don't.
      Now That is everything I can pull from the top of my head on THIS particular problem of the story (Of which there are many)
      I have way more on other parts of the narrative that make it bad but as i've said, I would prefer something other than texting to have a conversation so lemme know if discord is something you'd want to converse through.
      Again, people can like it, but i'm arguing that it is objectively bad at storytelling
