Very interesting Buddhist building and its history. It was worth the 1 hour ride to get there from Bangkok. There are also a giant elephant and turtle statue but I missed the big buddha one.

😀😀Haha, I missed the giant elephant and turtle statue. When I was on the top of the building, I found the big buddha, so I went to see it. If I am on the ground, I also can't find the big buddha.

where did you book the taxi?

You can download the Grab or Bolt Apps to take a taxi. Bolt is normally much cheaper than Grab.

Or just ask any taxi on the street, "How much for go there, wait for you for one or two hours there and come back?" The temple is far from Bangkok city. I think less than 1,000 baht is reasonable.

I don't know the policy regarding drones. When I visited the temple, another tourist said I could pay him to fly a drone and take a video of us.
