  • It's finally time to install the MK Designs Short Tail Tidy Kit on my 2019 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. And by install I mean cut the rear loop in one of the scariest moments of my life (thanks Ledd for being there). So, if you want to install the MK Designs Shorty Tail Tidy kit on your 2019 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, keep watching.

    MK Designs really need to provide some instructions in relations to the light. I don’t understand why they’ve sold something without including the installation in their video.
    In addition to this, I found that my tail light has gone out after a month of use. I’ve also found other people online with the same issue.
    I ended up getting an auto electrician to install the lights for me. Took him about 45 minutes and was worth the cost for me.

    Just a word of caution those thin cutting discs should not be used for face grinding it weakens
    the side structure. I’ve done it myself on odd occasions but bad practice as a habit. Well
    done for getting stuck in.

    Love your videos man! Have my own GT 650 that I'm working on, and wondered if I could get a pull on the tires you're using? And did they go right onto the factory rims, or did you need to replace those as well?
    Appreciate you taking the time, and safe riding 😃

    How does the bike feels to ride, after cutting the chassis!. Does it hold well while cornering? And does it have any sliding issues?

  • @vikyaath1998

    Please tell how the bike feels to ride, cuz even i want to do this modification. Cassie is basically the fundamental structure for the balancing of the bike

    It's upside down, flat bit of the rear loop is meant to be on the bottom and possibly why the lights sitting low

    It doesn't look quite right. The gap between the frame and seat is just too big. Are you sure you've got the loop right way up?

    Please for the love of God get a new grinder with the shroud on it, I've seen too many discs fail and rip into people.
    But other than that this looks awesome, would love to see the front end changed for a pair of gsxr gold forks.

    • @BurtoniMotors
      @BurtoniMotors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed, that was not the best grinder out there to use. Next time I'll upgrade it. As for the GSXR forks, if I was a little more flush with cash and had more mechanical knowledge I'd do it in a second!
