I had a garage studio for a couple years with plans to make it into something like yours but never got there. Now I’m in a finished basement and still haven’t figured everything out 2 years later. I’ll get there! You’ve inspired me!

Having a permanent setup is SO key to making this whole thing work. Although since you have 957 videos up, i certainly dont have to tell YOU! What climate are you in? I think my garage works so well because Im in Florida so I only have to figure out how to cool the place, not heat the place

Incredible! How do you have so much energy to do so many different projects and everything done yourself??

I do wonder how much faster I could grow this thing with a team! But Im only making a couple grand a month from it so I would have to pay people out of my pocket and thats scary.. But to answer your actual question, I have a 100% travel job where Im gone for like 10 days and then home for two weeks, but the part where Im home I have nothing at all I have to do and its on salary! So Im funded with a ton of free time.

Super curious how the red strip light is segmented like that! It looks really cool.

It’s actually just a Govee strip light lining the back of the shelves and there’s a bunch of crap on the shelves blocking bits of it and it ends up looking like that!
Cameras, lenses, gimbals, batteries and stuff

Weird question… but also being a Florida resident, how do you keep the spiders out? 😅

Haha, well! If you were to watch my first video in my series about building this new house - we got this system where there are tiny perforated tubes that run throughout the entire house, inside the walls. Once every 3 months, a man comes and pressurizes the tubes from a port outside, which apparently creates basically a vapor cloud of bug killing juice inside all the walls of the house. Spiders will eventually make their way in there and die, and then the house is so sealed up that no new ones get in. Its SO sealed up, in fact, that we have to have a special air intake port on the roof that bleeds into the HVAC systems so that we dont suffocate eventually! Its the future!

@ Genius!! Just built (2 years ago) and never considered doing that-builder never suggested it either. Well, adding that to the next home checklist, but greatly appreciate the feedback.
I’ll be watching the full series now to take additional notes!

Funny, I actually keep the small amount of bitcoin memorabilia hidden from view because I dont want to come off as a maxi-bitbro and lose the trust of the general populace.
Also, everyone knows glasses make you smarter - I have to do something, my numbers arent growing like I want them to.
