I had a friend who lived only a block from him and he also helped put up a garage for him it is one of 5 things that got me into pro wrestling and wanting to be a pro wrestler I love Ken old school badass all the way through

You know when I was bodybuilding, Superstar Billy Graham was my idol; I would read all the back issues of "The Wrestler" & "Inside Wrestling" from the early 1970's when "Superstar" was wrestling in California and the AWA back when they had territories. I loved reading all the fueds he had with Wahoo McDaniel, The Crusher, Bruno Sammrtino and many other pro wrestlers. Now that he is slowly dying, a melancholy sentiment is invading my heart...He was SO ahead of his time, nobody had a body or strength like Superstar Billy Graham at the time except maybe Ken Patera or Bruno Sammartino. Dino Bravo was another powerhouse. Take care gents...😀

The McDonald's rock through the window may be "b.s." as the host mentioned, but the ensuing beat down of police officers at the hotel down the road was the real story. One cop had some teeth knocked out.

Quaaludes (methaqualone) were wicked as hell and were my favorite drug back in the day. They discontinued them in the states in 1985, I was so in love with them that I even considered moving Mexico when they banned it in the US.

Well…… no pro wrestler, but I can tell a few “Lude” stories. They were the real deal n even more. The love drug. All I can say, if you missed it. You missed it. Damn, would I ever want to live that point in time again. Sex n drugs. Sounds like the 70’s to me.

The Vice Episode was entertaining, from the 💩 inside the small airplane to everyone calling out Patera for telling a lie of what happened that night at McDonald’s. Ken did time for that because of the evidence and eyewitness testimony.

This was off the tales of the territories he may have been angry at the time

It's funny how he mentioned the surprise of Brunzell being a pill guy. I was shocked at that myself now I'm thinking thousands of people probably felt the same. I also think Jimmy + Gagne were both condescending little pricks to Ken and seemed to be laughing AT him, not WITH him.

Back in the late 70,s to the early 80,s coke in some areas of the country did actually cost that much
I saw that episode. Everyone at that table had a hard time believing what Patera was saying because they all know him. Christ, it's obvious based on his attitude and the way he told the story that it was bullshit. It's sad that after 40 years or whatever, the guy still can't just admit he threw the fucking boulder.
