Greg comes off as a straight-shooter, but I'm surprised to constantly see him being berated on TH-cam. I've seen several videos where he appears to remain consistent in his story-telling. 10:15 -10:40 Greg seems to have a lot of "facts" scrambled here regarding the Hogan/Flair match. He says he told them not to do a cage match at the first PPV, but they did it anyway. That's not true. Hogan fought Flair in a regular bout. There was a cage match, but it was at Halloween Havoc, not Bash at the Beach. Greg either has his facts mixed up or he's completely full of shit.
It's wild how Cornette just sits there nodding and laughing knowing that every word Gagne is spewing is a lie. Almost all of this has been painstakingly chronicled by multiple people in the business, so we know none of this shit is true. If you listen to Greg you would think he was the one responsible for all of the AWA's success and that he was the guy behind all of the successful things in WCW.
