FYI, the 80's represented a major turning point in the music world, in fact, virtually a Renaissance. Don't count on "the vast majority of 80's tunes" not getting their collective second wind. The wealth of content from that era is so vast that you'll find more than enough to fill up an 80's playlist. Incidentally, you might be surprised to find out that some well-known 80's acts have reformed in recent years (I will admit, though, some haven't aged well), so that helps the case for keeping 80's music relevant. Just recently saw the reunited Duran Duran on a New Years Eve special (Simon and Nick were present, but the Taylors weren't anywhere to be seen, afaict)
As a very possessive Kate Bush fan for 30+ years, I am always hesitant and irrationally upset when someone tries to do anything with Kate's music....I clicked on this out of boredom and holy shit.... I am unbelievably impressed. To me, the art of being a DJ is knowing what aspects of a song should be manipulated in the RIGHT way based on the structure of the instrumental or vocal line...THAT is what makes a good cover/mix....you have to know as a DJ the 'flow' and pace of a part and highlight that in your mix...and not unneccesarily messing with parts that don't need to be messed with. He does a brilliant job just bringing out the most minimal parts. Love it to death....thank you for this!!
Agreed. I'm a huge Kate Bush fan, and this is the first time I haven't been upset at another artist attempting to reinterpret her amazing music. This is amazing!

Orkidea is at it, once again! Such a tasteful hommage, actually a rework that is not afraid to sound different yet does not impose a new fad signature just for the sake of it. It's a 5 min track that could extend to 15min without getting me bored. Thanks for sharing!
Ever since his remix of Way Out West's Killa, Orkidea has had my ear. His productions and remixes are some of the best in the world. When I first started to dabble in Trance production, I used his sound as a template for what I wanted my own music to sound like. He adds a seriousness and gravity to a genre that he has helped to build. And nobody's tracks sound better on a large club system.
