Imagine he's just dancing and then out of nowhere someone comes up with a small caliber pistol and just starts riddling Chris Brown with bullets and because of the loud music and small caliber people don't realize what's happening so they're just dancing around him and smiling and he's in agonizing pain and his body twitches reflexively as shot after shot enters his body and then he tries to run but one last shot paralyzes him from the waist down and then it's revealed that there are multiple shooters and they are all women that Chris Brown has abused and he's begging for his life, feeling extreme pain and agony before being shot once more in the head. However to suggest credit is not given means you are just blind. It is apparent the creator seeks approval from AAs - and that their endorsement is in the video creators eye the highest seal of approval. That seems to anyone's logical mind evidence they are giving credence and credit to AAs.
For the better informed it is clear that these dancers are from the Krump movement. Which was a phenomenon made by AAs.
However there is a documentary about this art form which illustrates similarities between art forms and dance in no other place but, yes you guessed it, Africa.
It is like many things, jazz, blues, reggae, banjos, capoeira they are intrinsincally linked with Africa and its forcefully removed diaspora.
No doubt the accolades must go to the innovators but to recognise roots can only unite us
