@@TheTopstax Having a Pop Star demonstrates that Africa has power in terms of finances. This will allow people to not only see Africa in terms of political strife, disease, poverty, the slave trade and war. Having a Pop Star is excellent press and shows Africa has stepped into the 21st century. That will even make people want to visit the continent and set trends globally. It’s a big step. Look at Korean Pop Stars. Music is very important.

Social media changed the game... If your song is good enough, peoople spread it with dance challenges. Next thing a major label takes notice and invest in your already existing momentum. Yes, you're right! "The music industry is NOT pretty" WHY? Because that industry is also a REAL BUSINESS! (another form of INVESTMENT 'FIRM' simply to be put, for understanding) - Whereby in this 'business', the artiste or icon is the "Product" being marketed to "Buyers" (or the Audience/ Listeners - "Fans") for Capital gains or Dividends.
Believe it or Not - It's another "GAME" of Money not to be joked with!
MJ, Cassie, Prince, etc told their stories after later on discovering how they were unknowingly, the "Product" being marketed (or exploited) for profits unfairly!!! Sadly, it will always be that way because - Most of these fresh artistes get influenced quickly by FAME, risking everything All-in!

Salvation is the good news that Jesus died, was buried, and rose from the dead. Because of the disobedience of Adam, we were made sinners. Sin was passed down to us, and therefore, the judgment of that was to condemnation. But Jesus did not come to the world to condemn the world, He came so that we may have everlasting life. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the only way to God the Father. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Without Him, no man can go to heaven. Romans 10: 9 says; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Tyla, she is definitely not an industry plant. She has the look, the voice, and the ambition, and she put in the work. Something about Americans audiences that people don't talk about is that they are mesmerized by ethnic and exotic foreign artists. With Tyla, it was an easy bandwagon to jump in because she embodied the superficial attributes the Americans audience low-key like. Let's not forget "Water" is a sex song which falls in the Americans music lovers lane. They streamed, and they watched and purchased her record. They numbers are definitely real. Not an industry plant.

    • @WellokStar-yp3vu
      @WellokStar-yp3vu 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

If you go by streaming and views, then it's even more reason she doesn't deserve the Grammy. Let's just compare her to Ayra Starr. Rush by Ayra star blew up without a famous tiktok dance challenge. The song gained about 200 M views in 6 months. But it's been at least 6 months since Water was released, and it just barely crossed 150M views. Rush is on its way to 400M, and that is because the song is a hit by itself. But water will keep dying fast because it was ticktok dance challenge driven, and it is dying as the dance is dying. Rush is still by far a better song than Water. Take it or leave it; You can go do your research on both songs and see for yourself.

her goal from the jump was to be famous at all costs. You don't need talent or passion about the projects to achieve this. Big industries love to slave and market anybody willing to build their empire. I can feel her music is just tends, numbers and awards. She's a successful hustler. I didn't hear anything about her passion to sing, dance , perform. She just said she can do these things but her goal once again was to blow up and be the biggest thing and she achieved that. She definetly is a plant but i think we have to just not stigmatize plants and realize the music industry isnt full of artists who are passionate about creating. Shes pretty much a performancer, promoting and pushing good songs from writers by doing the vocals and doing dances from choreographers. She packages the work from other artists and to be fair she plays her part well.

Exactly my point. A lot of artists have done far more than her but do not get this kind of hyping. I mean, she's even in no way comparable to Arianna Grande, yet they hype her as if She's even better. You can't compare Ariana to Beyonce and Rihanna, but people are already comparing one-hit wonder Tyler to them. This over-hyping will hurt her so bad. All she's got is water and nothing else meaningful. Even her debut album is not that great. Please, they should allow her grow up step by step.

Guys! Being A South African groomed and brainwashed by the Past Apartheid Region, it's kind of difficult for young generation just to adopt to the current situation in our Country.
Its a known fact that S.A. consists of these three tribes; Colourds, Africans Blacks and Indians.
Were born and growup as kinds that there are three tribes in the Country (S.A).
After all we people of the country are to blame as far asbour children's are concerned.
    WHY:

    That's the way it is.

This argument is so tired and late it’s exhausting.
Being scouted and pushed by a label is not the same thing as being fabricated and manufactured from the ground up by record label executives for one specific purpose or another. A lot of people have serious misconceptions over what the term “industry plant” actual means, and it shows with all of the conspiracy claims that follow each and every new artist to blow up via the internet.
Tyla has been making music for a while now, but the reason why her (and other artist’s) success seems so sudden is because of the integration of social media, mainly TikTok. TikTok is an immensely popular app with not only Gen-Z but people in general, and it is INCREDIBLY effective at influencing and exposing its users to new things very quickly.
It takes no time at all for someone to discover a new artist, song, or even niche sub-genre of music in the modern age; and even less time if TikTok’s algorithm gets the slightest whiff of public interest, or trending potential. Artists and label executives have recognized this fact and are taking full advantage of it. That’s why by and large, most modern pop songs are getting shorter, and why their lyrics and song structures seem to be becoming more-I’ll be respectful and say, “succinct”. It’s done all to cater to exactly what moves quickest through social media clips and affords them the most opportunity to go viral.
However, that’s not to say that ALL artists-or even Tyla for that matter-are just trying to make music simply to go viral; but that it’s simply a marketing tactic being used because of the insane amount of viewers/consumers that apps like TikTok traffic. Simply put: it’s less conspiratorial than it is good marketing and advertising sense.
And in more general terms, as the world moves on, the internet will continue to make it a smaller and smaller place. We’ve got to stop looking at ALL of these new artist’s comeups through the lense of past generations. Yes it was once virtually impossible for someone to become famous across the globe and become an overnight success before the internet and social media existed. But the reality is that today, although doing so isn’t necessarily easy, it is undoubtedly possible.
