Daniel Elder Covers I have always played with my fingers, but your correct, knowing how to play with a pick is good to know also. I need to start practicing more with a pick to get used to it. Just something else to add to my bag of tricks.

good move, guitarists are so overdone and old news. People have really started to appreciate bass a lot over the past several years thanks to youtube!
