    Nice job man, birds in the background, no editing, just raw footage. Love it.

    Good tutorial. I Got the two rear bolts out without dropping the mount. I used a #4 hex wrench instead . My bolts weren't rusty, so was able to get them off easily. Hand tightened them back on. No drips.

    Good video. The fact that you did it with an Alan L wrench and on the ground, i give you credit. I work for Dodge, i use a cordless battery 3/8. and a lift of course. I have a 2013 Hemi Charger our cars take 5.2Q

      Thank you. I'm not a mechanic.lol I was doing it just to save me and other people a few bucks. I love those cars, but they have a lot transmission issues.

      @@AubinAutoDiy These cars have the Nag1 transmission. Made by Mercedez. Its the best trans Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep put with the HEMIs

      Well, I guess I'm unlucky. Lol. I had 2 chargers, 1 sxt and an R/T, and one chrysler 200 all 3 had the same transmission problem. But they were bought used. So it could be how they were driven.

    Good tutorial video! Someone always has questions! 👍🏿. Don't mind some of these clowns 🤡.

    Quick question did you jack up the trans when taking the crossmember off ?

    • @AubinAutoDiy
      @AubinAutoDiy  ปีที่แล้ว

      No. Just need to elevate the car so that you can get under to remove it. You either need to jack the car up or use the 2 ramps like I did. Make sure to put something behind the rear wheels before going under the car.

    So this is all I need to do it myself as far as the oils and the filter ? Dealership is taking forever to call me back to do mine

    • @AubinAutoDiy
      @AubinAutoDiy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. It is not that hard to do. Just make sure you get right oil and filter for your car specifically. When you drain your oil make sure to measure how much oil comes out of the transmission, so that you know much to add back into the transmission. If you don't feel feel comfortable doing it, it is always a good idea to let the dealership do it for you. Good luck!

    how tight do the bolts go upon reassembly? I did this once on an old camaro and I remember getting a ton of leaks cus I overdid it :(

    • @AubinAutoDiy
      @AubinAutoDiy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for your question. Not too tight because you don't want to mess up the gasket. Just about 7 lb ft of torque. Over tightening could cause a leak. So take your time to avoid that. Good luck!

    Hii bro, what kind of oil do you used

    • @AubinAutoDiy
      @AubinAutoDiy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there. This is the kind I used. But my car was a 5.7L Hemi engine. So as long as you have the similar vehicle that is the kind you need. (STP ATF+4 Automatic Transmission Fluid
      )

      @@AubinAutoDiy thank you and I just changed my transmission fluid now my car is smoking, I may either put to much or I think the bolts are loose, idk but it’s driving funny now, it’s driving a lot worse how many quarts does it take ? I was told 8

    • @AubinAutoDiy
      @AubinAutoDiy  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @youngbucks6504 Hi. I am not sure why it is smoking. Where the smoke is coming from? If you measure the oil you drained out of transmission and added same exact amount, it should not cause you any issue. Unless you added more than that. If you rewatch the video you should see where I said to make sure to measure the amount of oil you took and add back the same amount.

    • @AubinAutoDiy
      @AubinAutoDiy  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @youngbucks6504 if you added 8qts back, that is way to much oil. You need to redrain it and add the total amount you drained from the pulling transmission pan.

    • @youngbucks6504
      @youngbucks6504 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AubinAutoDiy yea I went to autozone they told me 8 quarts but I don’t think I bolted down the pan all the way it’s leaking a little so I can kind of see where the smoke coming from, still think I overfilled it , that’s just my guess but thank you

    • @AubinAutoDiy
      @AubinAutoDiy  ปีที่แล้ว

      You will have to measure the amount of oil that drain . Then replace it with the same amount of oil you just drained. Good luck!
