Mine was the same. My screen was so small too. But with this interface, it looks way better and safer to use.

What year is yours? To be honest all I can tell you is to check to see if you see the same Can wires on the passenger side. The purple white and purple green. If you see them, just give it a try. I'm 80% sure it will work. Good luck!

@AubinAutoDiy it's a 2016. But it's phev..... I don't think it makes thst much of a difference to where it will interfere with the hybrid part....but I might reach out to speedswede or maybe Crutchfield. Thanks again

@@AubinAutoDiy I received my new OEM Volvo mount, the top rubber gasket that you say is "firm" on the new one vs. the old one "soft", just curious as my new one is also soft? Could it be that yours are an aftermarket non-OEM brand? Also the torque rating shows 100NM or 68lb. ft. of torque for those bolts, where did you get the 50lb. ft of torque?

@rlemere Hi. Yes mine were aftermarket ones. But the one that was soft, was actually cracked and leaked. I'm sure mine was probably softer than your OEM. I'm sure there will be some differences in different parts. As far as the torque specs, there isn't an official torque sheet available online from Volvo. So it would be different from different places you look for it. But the 50-60lb ft torque was tight enough for mine. Have a great day

You have to unlock the feature with a Automotive tazer to get it to work. If you don't unlock it it won't work. Watch my videos I have videos that explain what to do

Ebay is the best place to find it used or places where they sell used parts. But your rear must be equipped with heating pad for it to work.

No. As long you bought one that was not messed up. If you should be ready to go. If you buy an after market one you may have to perform the calibration set up. As long it is OEM, you should be good

I used an Allen ranch to push against the spring inside of the steering and pull outward the airbag at the same time

My problem was that every time it was going on second gear, it jerks. Changing the injectors helped a little, but it did it again.

If you want to change the injectors, make sure you get the one from the factory. These ones I used were not the best.

Just press the unlock button and hold for 10 seconds to see if that works.

Hey there. The part i got is called joyeauto carplay. Look it up on Ebay. You wont find on Amazon. It will Tell you it is for Jeep grand cherokee, but it will work for your charger.

Ebay is your best shot. You can also try joyeauto.com to see if you can fine it

@@AubinAutoDiy thank you and I just changed my transmission fluid now my car is smoking, I may either put to much or I think the bolts are loose, idk but it’s driving funny now, it’s driving a lot worse how many quarts does it take ? I was told 8

@youngbucks6504 Hi. I am not sure why it is smoking. Where the smoke is coming from? If you measure the oil you drained out of transmission and added same exact amount, it should not cause you any issue. Unless you added more than that. If you rewatch the video you should see where I said to make sure to measure the amount of oil you took and add back the same amount.

@youngbucks6504 if you added 8qts back, that is way to much oil. You need to redrain it and add the total amount you drained from the pulling transmission pan.

@@AubinAutoDiy yea I went to autozone they told me 8 quarts but I don’t think I bolted down the pan all the way it’s leaking a little so I can kind of see where the smoke coming from, still think I overfilled it , that’s just my guess but thank you

Hi. I have not installed this in a ram 1500 yet, but if you have the same 8.4 uconnect system, I'm sure it will work.

I don't know if is true or not. But all you can do is to give it a try. I would not bring it to the dealer to rewire it because they will charge you a lot of money. As long you have the alfaobd2 app and a Bluetooth obd, you should be able to unlock whatever feature you want to unlock. Just try it. The purpose of the video is to help you save money not to spend more. So try to stay away from the dealer as much as you can unless you don't feel comfortable doing it. Good luck!

You should be able to make it work with your car, but you will have to buy the Android version of The Alfaobd2 app plus a Bluetooth obd2 to be able to unlock the features in your uconnect system. You don't need to have it rewire as long as your car had heated seat before. But if your car did not have heated seats, you may have to rewire the car by adding manual buttons to turn it on and off

@Tyytyythatguy hey do this. Go to your car and look underneath of both seats driver and passenger to see if you have 2 plugs under the seats. I believe it is a yellow and gray plugs.if so, it will work. And you need to have 8.4 uconnect system for it to work. If not, you will have to wire it manually.

@Tyytyythatguy no, that's mean the heated and cooling seats will work for your car if you have those 2 plugs under each front seats

Hi. Look at the main board. There are 8 pins on the back. Bring all of the pins down and leave number 8 up. It should work. Also check the fuse for your reverse camera. Let me know if this work

@@AubinAutoDiy Yes, I've left all the pins down and only 8 up but it doesn't work, on the main screen uconnect works normally, my car is a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I'm from Brazil.

In your video, when you put them all down and turn on the reverse camera, you get a black and blue image, right? look at the time of your video 5:54, in my car this black and blue image also doesn't appear when all the pins are down.

@Henriqueverri thank you for your comments. I am not sure why it is not working for you. Mine did not work at first until I did the steps I just mentioned. One question though, did you connect you camera with the wire that came with the kit? If so, you will have to put number 8 down as well. Try to unplug everything and plug them back to see if that work. You may also need to get a automotive tazer to unlock the camera feature on you system. I had a 2016 dodge charger sxt, it did not come with the camera, so I have to purchase the automotive tazer to unlock the camera for mine to work. Other than that I don't why yours is not working.

Yes you can if your steering wheel is already heated. If it is not you have to buy a used or new heated steering wheel for it to work. Hope I answered your questions. Good luck

You would have to get you some brake parts grease. Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant. You do need a good amount amount on the sliding pins. Hope this helps

Yes it should be. To confirm, left your rear seat up and look right under the back seat with the head rest on the right side. You should see the plug. But, that if your scat came with heated seats. If so, that plug is pre-installed. Let me know if this helps.

@@AubinAutoDiy These cars have the Nag1 transmission. Made by Mercedez. Its the best trans Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep put with the HEMIs

Well, I guess I'm unlucky. Lol. I had 2 chargers, 1 sxt and an R/T, and one chrysler 200 all 3 had the same transmission problem. But they were bought used. So it could be how they were driven.
