It must have been Adrienne’s father that was strict because on All Things Adrienne, she and her sister have used profanity in front of Mama Nilda, talked about sex, drink alcohol with mom (although she mentioned they didn’t grow up with alcohol in the house). I’m just pointing out how either they evolved in the mother/daughter relationship and it became more liberal, or mama Nilda wasn’t as strict as we thought. If she’s comfortable enough to curse in front of Moms, mama Nilda wasn’t very strict.

@@ifym5455 They do not at all!! It’s more of a respect thing. They are more censored and I believe it’s because of the way they grew up. But in all honestly I don’t feel comfortable having those kind of “intimate” talks with my mom. It’s awkward😂😂😂😂

Glad she finally dropped her fake NY accent from her 106 & Park days. This annoyed me considering she’s from New Orleans, she was so fake and cringey. But I like her now, because she’s staying true to herself.
Sometimes people naturally start to talk like the people that they’re constantly around. It’s like when people move from another country and their accent slowly changes over time.
Just bc you’re from a certain place doesn’t mean you will speak like everyone else
