    Great video
    The photography is really professional.
    I've been looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Hunter, I saw one on the road the other day and they're really good looking bikes.
    The bar risers will make a big difference, I fitted 30mm risers to the Interceptor and the position is perfect for me now.
    Ride safe

      Thanks, will do! i feel there really 2 different rides so compared to owning 2 classic 350 reborns which i did early and both rode the same...great!
      this one of each put the classic 350 as the more relaxed go for and enjoy the ride experience and the hunter 350 going out to chase down a 650 continental gt...lol.
      all in the mind but thats the feeling.....lol
      either way each have their place so no real harm done there.
      all the best!

    I must admit I'm thinking of getting one to go alongside the Classic. The only thing I don't like is the offset speedo but I reckon I could sort that fairly easily. Eagerly anticipating the camp and cook series. I hope the numbers get better to make it worth your while.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah to be totally honest i hope the numbers pick up too. im keen to giver it a go thats for sure.
      don't be put off by the off-set speedo when riding it doesn't effect your experience at all.
      i bet if it had been centred some would say it would look more old school off0set...lol
      pity the classic 350 reborn didn't have the hunter 350 mid range tune if it had it would be near classed as perfect.
      when you said you might like one of each. if in doubt i'd said ..don't but they are 2 completely different bikes so yes buy the hunter.
      classic is more a care free lay back enjoy the ride experience and the hunter feels like your going out to drag race some-one.
      maybe only in the mind but thats the feeling i got. if it had more power like 35 hp -it would be an illegal weapon...lol

      well i sort have had to put a bit of effort into the intro to try and get this camp series going. bought some real good stuff to and some very fancy tents and stoves.
      i will see if i can get the view numbers up and if this idea fails i plan to just load any old crap after that as i plan to no longer waste my time.

    I hate the TH-cam algorithm. Channels like yours that I subscribe to suddenly disappeared. 😮. Since the last time I saw one of your videos I sold my Reborn Classic 350. I had installed some knobby tires and remembered my old dirt riding skills. I wound up buying a KTM 390 Adventure 😂. I took it on an organized ADV ride for a weekend. I actually broke parts off of it without ever dropping it! My GPS even sent an emergency call to the local police. It was a truly rough ride! It rained the whole weekend and my tent leaked! I’m done with camping 😡.
    I like the new Hunter! I might have to get one eventually 😊

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah i had one of those ktm 390 adv and bought a custom rear sprocket for it. after that alone it ran like a hond cb500x ...may probably have beat it in pickup too.
      i never struck rain on my trip camping but i dont think i'd like that side of it at all.
      cold yes cold and rain...no....lol
      hunters a pretty good little bike to ride and more rewarding performace wise than the 350 classic

    That's a very informative presentation Warro. I've just subscribed ! I'm seriously thinking of a Hunter for my later retirement and the local RE dealer is selling them here for about $5325US [My home is in Phnom Penh] The bike reminds me of a 2002 Estrella Chrome 250, a unit I fondly owned some years back [A 650 would be suicidal on these demon streets] Thanks again, much appreciated

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว

      not sure if you have demo bikes your way but if so try out both the classic 350 reborn and the hunter and go with what is ideal for you.
      ive found out riding them back to back as the are really totally different ride experiences.
      the classic is more laid back and take your time type of a ride experience and the hunter is a more get on and get into it experience.
      also feel the classic you sit in and the hunter you sit on...lol
      also feel the hunter may be much stiffer in the rear suspension too but can be helped out there by better shocks. classic not that much better but i had a pair of the old piggy back shocks from the 500 days and fitted those.
      either ride is good value for money and the hunter is $500 to $1000 cheaper here than the classic -depending on model purchased

    • @petersteen4014
      @petersteen4014 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ridewithwarro I am tempted by the Classic, especially because of the larger front tire and styling flair [it's not called Reborn here] and demo rides are available. I'll let you know what I end up with - oh, and thanks for the extra tips !

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@petersteen4014 i think its hard to knock back either bike but for old school looks the classic is the winner there.
      either way you should enjoy the ride experience.
      im curious to see how the hunter handles the dirt roads so when i do my camp series i might ride one on one trick and try the other on following clip
      classic runs well on dirt roads but doesn't like muddy tracks...lol or i should say the tyres don't

    Got a hunter myself in sunny Indonesia. Yes, it's sweet,torque engine, sweet transmission, nice quick handling, good build quality. The bars are bit too far forward, the rear shocks springs are too stiff and there is not enough dampening. If u hit a bump mid corner, the rear suspension upsets the bike, not good. I got some adj shocks from Thailand, much better. The clutch, it is smooth, but the engagement point is so narrow, almost on/off ( got 2000 km on my). Getting off my Hondas I have to adjust to this clutch. I also installed FuelX fuel box just to give the engine bit more fuel. With it the bike runs smoother and cooler.

    Another excellent, commonsense first review of a brilliant bike. Yet again I can't help thinking that Enfield would be onto a winner if they produced a larger-framed version for the western market.
    Before you ditch the mirrors it would be interesting to see if adding a 10g or 20g wheel weight to the back of them. It might attenuate the vibrations (or make it worse 🤔).
    Looking forward to your outback camping expedition (assuming Oz wildlife don't get you first)....

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      at the moment it may be too cold for the wildlife to venture out...lol mirror side is only something i noted while riding it around town.
      as a rule i very rarely ride in town and prefer to take the risk on open roads. which to me is roughly 3 minutes from when i leave the house.
      i have plans on holding back on mirrors till i get it run in and i'd like to see how they perform on the open road at 80 to 100 kph. thats where i do most of my riding or the majority of it.
      so we will see how that goes when the time comes
      all the best!

    Hi from Adelaide. I bought a Hunter in December. I love it. I just turned 60. A returning rider. Great fun bike. Smiles for miles. The rear shocks do soften up a bit after 2000km or so but a nice pair of after market shocks is on the list. Cheers. 👍

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว

      i might be able to soften them up sooner on a few hard dirt road runs...lol either way i have a spare set i think will fit. bike runs well and quite nippy for an enfield 350. almost runs down low like a stock 500

    Warro, thanks for the entertaining and honest content. I like your style.
    Looks like the H350 is quite approachable for shorter and new riders all around. A smart looking ride as well.
    The camp series sounds interesting, I’ve never camped by motorcycle before. Tent or hammock? I drag so much gear along that I would need a trailer
    Anyway, I look forward to see your gear breakdown. I’m sure you’ll give good advice on that front.
    Great variety on the channel. Keep rolling!

      pity really they didn't give the classic 350 reborn the same tune as it certainly would have livened it up but i guess they had not thought that far ahead.
      i will be keen to try it out on open road running once run in and then try a ride cook camp run on it.
      ive never done any overnight camps either so it will be a first time experience there.
      got a bit of nice gear to do it plus rock bottom budget stuff too so everything covered in that area

      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      very hard to beat the classic 350 reborn. i was on the halcyon grey today and could feel it wasn't as fast or as zippy around town as the hunter but the ride position was far more relaxing.
      plus the classic 350 reborn feels a much bigger and heavier bike too and its only 15kgs split them.
      hunter i feel has the better exhaust note but not the best looking muffler...lol i'd liked to have seen it a foot longer there.
      either ways no issues really with either bike. classic reborn has a nice riding position and the hunter i hope to improve in that area with bar risers.
      interesting to see how the hunter hamdles dirt roads later. classic reborn does that task very easy

      nothing really wrong with the hunter 350 except it has pretty steep opposition when it comes to the classic 350 with its dead set old school old world charm looks.

      yeah i bought one just 6 weeks before the fuel injected model arrived in au. not happy there as i asked them when the F/I model was coming and they said -no idea. 6 weeks later it was on the floor so it was in their warehouse but kept it quite
      pretty shifty opperators...enfields ...lol
      i have no interest in buying another and i just bought that new suzuki vstrom 250 sx and its $2000 cheaper. top speed would outrun a himalayan too as the suzuki will do $1.40 plus
      himalayan is a softer ride.
      coin toss...i'd go suzuki as i feel i'd have less issues. my first himalayan left the shop with faulty speedo and they the dealer were too lazy to test ride or knew it was going 500 klm return trip so who cares...lol

    A most enjoyable clip Warro. Regarding the cook and ride series, of course I'll watch them. Been waiting so long now since you first promised these clips!
    When you get the Hunter bedded in a bit, could you please report on the following:
    1) find a bit of dirt road with corrugations and let us know how it goes on that (same for 350 Reborn too, if you can). Sometimes you can get stuck on quite a few kms of corrugations, and if the bike isn't up to it, it will be an agonising and very slow ride. I bought 3 new REs in 2020 (interceptor, Trials and UCE 350) and none of them were any good on bad roads, let alone corrugations.
    2) While our speed limit is mostly 100 kmh, as you know, traffic tends to flow at about 110 on busy B roads. If you don't keep up, you will have semi trailers up your clacker, and it can be dangerous for them to pass if there are no overtaking lanes, even if you go out of your way to make it easier for others to pass as I do.
    So will the Hunter sit on 110 for say, a couple of hours if you get stuck on such a road; or is that wringing its neck, and something to be avoided?
    Thanks for all your good work. It IS appreciated!

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว

      im pretty sure neither of those bikes will handle those corrugations you mentioned maybe a honda crf300l would be the better option there but $10k to try plus a long order wait.
      i had one of those and 110 kph would be very easy to do but bad bar vibes.
      tell ya what i'd think about buying that suzuki vstrom sx 250 i bought for $6500 and do a suspension upgrade and my bet that bike will cruise at $130 kph and top out at $1.45
      plus i bet you could cruise at 110 kph with that little effort you'd want to ride it faster. plus its pretty smooth in the bars too. may even be smoother than the 350 but not as smooth as an interceptor.
      out of all bikes ive owned the interceptors were super smooth and the only one i feel goes close to that is an xmax scooter or honda pcx160. in fact the pcx was that smooth i'd rate it the smoothest vibe free bike i'd ever ridden but no power...lol
      110 kph seem strong for the hunter to do. it would probable do it but the big question would be for how long. that is not far off cut off speed.
      now if you said 100 kph and the odd run to 110 i'd say fine but i could be wrong as our limit here is 100kph
      what i plan to do later is ride into a 110 zone and see how it runs from wellington to dubbo just for curiosity sake but i'd want to have it well run in.
      i was a bit hasty pushing 500's along from new and burnt out the inlet valve on 2 new bikes so i;m not too keen to go near that speed as yet...lol
      both called it quits at 700 klm. happened fast too. bike cruising at 110 and misfired and lost power immediately and a very slow trip back home and the heads off...lol

    RE missed a trick with the Hunter styling. I appreciate they are going for a different demographic, but I'm not sure how many kids want a 350 single however it looks. So having the 1000RR this would definately be more my speed with the mag wheels, wider tires and lighter weight but I would be so afraid that old habits would return and I would want to throw it around like the Honda. And I'm sure the Hunter handles nothing at all like the CBR. Hell I toss the Classic around much more than most. even slipping the front end on a recent trip up the San Gabriel mountains. I am not too sure that RE changed anything engine wise but the lighter weight, different tire profile and shorter wheel base makes it feel sportier. Maybe different steering geometry too? But I think I have hung up my sportbike spurs and am embracing the Classic lifestyle now a days. Another great video Sir. As always look forward to more cooking tips from the bush. Cheers Brother
