I think one thing that might help the series is playing a given clip at normal speed once before breaking it down in a play by play. That way, it's easier to orient yourself with what you're seeing
That's fair, but I think when trying to make this watchable length-wise we cut out a lot of stuff like that. I can try to do more of that next time tho!
as a new player I've never seen so much care for newcomers like with the doctor's notes, this kind of content is exactly what the community need to grow even bigger

Great breakdowns! One piece of feedback that would be helpful for my visual brain is just replaying the sequence after you analyze it, for example I would’ve liked to see you watch through amsa’s full corner pressure sequence one more time after you analyzed it
I really like Note 1a. Scaring your opponent and putting huge pressure on them can definitely cause tech flubs and it is reductive to say "Mang0 just messed up" when AMSA's play was putting him in situations where he would easily mess up.
Thanks PPMD. As a Slippi Kid, are there older "generation defining sets" you could do it on? I know that it may be a challenge for new people to invest in them, but I'm sure its an idea you guys have already had. LFG GG MELEE!

PP is a god of the game, so maybe I'm missing something, but isn't mang0's lack of drill something to highlight? I remember barely any dairs from mang0 this set.
Mango actually did drill a decent amount if you go back and watch. Additionally, you can't spam it(see sfat vs amsa at ludwig invitational). I kinda wanted to highlight his lesser use of drill, but upon going back he used it often enough to not warrant calling out imo.
