Hongdui tools are outstanding. Beautiful, precise, and sturdy. Second to none IMO. It looks like Wnew and Enjoywood are stepping up their game. They have always been nice, but it looks like they're catching up to Hongdui.
I have a lot of tools. My Hongdui are the highest quality tools I have. Enjoywood and Wnew are making some nice tools but are not as precision as Hongdui. I noticed the Hongdui miter gauge price has come down a lot since I bought mine. Competition helps keep prices in check.
On some items, you are right. I always check prices on several different sites. On most items I get from them, they are not available on Amazon or are much more expensive. It all depends on what you get.
Thanks for the review Sir, very well done. I think I like the Hongdou one personally and I will probably buy one. Do you have any input on the clear cut stock guides? Thanks for sharing
I have bought tools before that took me some time to figure out how to use them. Once i did then I used them all the time. I am going to keep it and see if this is one of those tools.
@@ShopRamblings I think it’s more of a convenience thing/ form factor for me; I also am a huge fan of those rulers that have the little sliders with thumb screws so that you can lock a measurement and save it or get a better look lol
On the coping sled, usually they have a sacrificial backer board to keep from blowing out the end. With the alignment blocks, I don't see a way to mount one. - Chris
I haven't had a chance to use it a lot. The alignment block can be moved. The main thing would be the size of what you are routing. I belive a backer could be attached with one clamp and the other clamp to hole the work piece.
The Hongdui is the better miter gauge, but the Enjoywood is reversible. I had the Kregg one before. Both of these are in a completely different class when it comes to quality. I still have not been able to decide which one I am keeping and which one I am selling.

Banggood shipping, minimum 2 weeks. Same item from Amazon maybe a dollar more, received in 3 days

I have both the Jessem and the Hungdui versions. I did a side by side comparison video on them. You should check it out.
I like the Cali-rule. I would probably be more likely to use it than a caliper unless I needed extreme accuracy

Great looking tools.
