Hi MamaDee you have mentioned everything that's goes into it. I have had ups and downs building my house but to this day I am proud of myself and greatful for the lessons I have learned. Give me a construction project anyday I will manage it with more knowledge. Thank you for sharing. One other important lesson is to know someone who is also busy building around or at the same time as it helps to pass on extra material to each other per agreement instead of returning them to the shop and vice versa. I wouldn't add or minus anything you said in this video. Every phase is exciting
Thank you and great advice actually. You can even sell slightly damaged materials too to other people building around you at a reasonable price to recoup some of your money.
I'm so proud of you mama Dee❤❤❤ You've inspired me... I have to start now... With the little I've got.. I can imagine how you feel to have accomplished what you have ... Thank you for the advice .
❤❤❤ MamaD you have shared lots. By the time you finish you can have a tutorial packaged and create a platform of lessons learned to support each other. For me importantly it's showing the next generation the wealth they already have and must not be squandered. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Thanks MamDee you are awesome my sweet. For a farmhouse lover I will definately consider buying your plan in future when I build then have an actuator work with you in putting it together my sweet. ❤
Thank you MamaDee for this insightful vid, Is there an easy way of doing your costing before you start the project, maybe once you have decided on the size.
Hi MamaDee, thank you for sharing. I am a farmhouse lover but never thought to build one in rural SA. How much does your plan cost? I would love to start this process for me and my family to have this to enjoy in the future.
Sorry to hear that but I'm not done building at this point, I'm working hard for plumbing and also I still have to build another house and I have family that has already asked.
thank you Mamadee for all this very useful info. your home is so beautiful and well thought. i love it.

Great advice sisi. Yhoo we need to fence our plot even though we can not afford to build now, will definitely keep for the future
Yes little by little tackle things and over time they will add up.
Approximately how much would it cost to build a structure like that in rural South Africa ?
It depends on a lot of things.
I'm sitting here, broke as hell, but listening as if I'm going to put the advice to use tomorrow.
😂😂
In the same boat lol. We all do it.
