Hi MamaDee you have mentioned everything that's goes into it. I have had ups and downs building my house but to this day I am proud of myself and greatful for the lessons I have learned. Give me a construction project anyday I will manage it with more knowledge. Thank you for sharing. One other important lesson is to know someone who is also busy building around or at the same time as it helps to pass on extra material to each other per agreement instead of returning them to the shop and vice versa. I wouldn't add or minus anything you said in this video. Every phase is exciting

Thank you and great advice actually. You can even sell slightly damaged materials too to other people building around you at a reasonable price to recoup some of your money.

❤❤❤ MamaD you have shared lots. By the time you finish you can have a tutorial packaged and create a platform of lessons learned to support each other. For me importantly it's showing the next generation the wealth they already have and must not be squandered. Thanks for sharing. 😊

Thank you MamaDee for this insightful vid, Is there an easy way of doing your costing before you start the project, maybe once you have decided on the size.

Hi MamaDee, thank you for sharing. I am a farmhouse lover but never thought to build one in rural SA. How much does your plan cost? I would love to start this process for me and my family to have this to enjoy in the future.
