Love the american touch as well...proteas dont like wet areas, they need sand and water less than usual,too much water even during flowering stages of the plants can mess up the flowers,they die before they open up
@pheaganemokoena5657 that cant be true. Proteas are indigenous to the Cape and believe me we get a LOT of rain. It flourish in the mountains which are always wet so what you saying does not make sense at all
