Hey all,
Here is another quick video of some "tribal knowledge" of the Albion market and some Gameplay Tips and Tricks on making a lot of silver in passive income by salvaging the artifacts and selling the runes on the market.
The idea is not very complex:
1) Every artifact piece can be salvaged into corresponding runes/souls/relics + a bit of silver
2) Those runes/souls/relics can then be sold on the market
3) If the cost of salvaged material is GREATER cost of buying said artifact = you make a profit!
In the video, I go into some very great details and show my spreadsheet with formulas on how I came out with the profitable numbers.

Dude, you dont calculate the Taxes. So your Sheet is not 100% correct. Or do i miss something?
No, because the taxes will vary a little bit. And the taxes used to be 1% they are now 3% based on the Queen patch. But the tax is something I leave up to you. If the 3% tax is eating up your profits - you probably should not be worried about this activity at all and look into something much more profitable.

@@rushdrift correct, I made a typo in one of my previous comments on this video. Should always be "+" [salvage silver], (addition not multiplication).

i don't know if you're still wondering if it's working but the answer is yes kinda, but you have to be very patient, another youtuber made a video on this so the market has severely tanked at the moment but I'm sure some tiers and some cities are still worth trying out

[T4_Rune_price] x 12.5 x [Recycle_Silver] = Break Even point
[T5_Rune_price] x 12.5 x [Recycle_Silver] = Break Even point
and so on...
Lmao the guy shows you the easiest way to make silver and you can't even be bothered to create your own excel sheet. Thank god for people like you, you guys make playing online games easy.
@@Alimentasable also I made a typo in the above formula, it should have read:
[T4_Rune_price] x 12.5 + [Recycle_Silver] = Break Even point
*PLUS* recycled silver, not multiply by. My excel is correct I just made a typo in TY comment :P
@@captainrussia I saw in the cell and perceived that was just a mistake. In any way, I have made some tests and its not so profitable as I thought. Its necessary a huge quantities. Did you think this can be better than other ways as sell carrots or some like this?
@@SilvioTeixeira this is passive income. Which means it will always be profitable OVER TIME. Also - nobody is stopping you from combining different passive income strategies. You can still sell carrots - and then do this artifact salvaging trick as well. 2 ways of passive income is always > then 1 way. You can combine other passive incomes and have 3-4 ways of making passive income, which is even better!

yeah the profits are lower and they changed (nerfed) the amount of silver (fixed rate) that you get from salvaging...
Does i matter what city you are doing this in ?
it might matter a little bit - as the markets might vary here and there, but overall there shouldn't be more then a 5-10% difference (on some artifacts) and potentially even better deals on others. Please check your local market accordingly! :)

sorry, I don't think transferring files is a good idea - and you probably should not be accepting files from strangers on the internet.
The formula for profit is simple I posted it before multiple times its [price rune]x12.5+[salvage silver]
@@captainrussia recommend google sheets for this. Change the settings to "view only" and then provide instructions for all to make their own copy and save to their google drive to make their own edits. Then add a link to your channel in the spreadsheet. BOOM! Advertising. :) p.s. great video thanks
@@BrockBeerock yeah this is a good idea, but I gotta think about this twice :) I might have to create a fake google account (don't wanna get Dox'ed or give out too much info bout myself) and also I made this vid as a guide, Im still using these techniques to trade on the market. If I literally give out everyone an "easy button" spreadsheet, I might really screw the market hehe. But your suggestion is very good otherwise, thanks! ;)

@@MOCHET5 а так тут система хитрая - у меня названия видео на 2-х языках. Ютуб - автоматически выдаёт людям из англоязычных стран - название на англ. Вот у них и получается и озвучка - и название (с описанием) тоже на англ. У русскоязычных же - только название на русском - а озвучка родная только на англ. К сожаления добавить 2-ую звуковую дорожку (озвучку) на каком либо другом языке - ЮТ не позволяет. Просто нет такой функции. А то всё было бы намного проще. Вот и проиходится потом русск. субы добавлять сверху - для русскоязычных. Некоторые видео (где только музыка и нарезки боёв например) - я вообще на 3-4 языках описание выкладываю - для расширения аудитории))

I've noticed the silver you get back on runes is not accurate, my guess is that its changed since this video was published. Overall great guide though! Thank you!
yes, they reduced (nerfed) the amount of silver you get when salvaging. It's still profitable, just much more dependent on market volatility (much less fixed silver returned)

yes this still works. You have to check out the costs and the returns per each artifact. SBI nerfed the silver, so I probably need to re-make this video at some point.

@@TheGhoul-fg2bi you can try to recycle 1 artifact and you will soon notice a pattern that all 1h weapon give back same silver, same for 2h weapon and so on and so forth
@@captainrussia and the silver derived from each item is always the same? like 1h weap will always and forever be 288 back from the salvage?
@@GtMcGee for a tier 4 1h "runic" artifact - yes. I call it "runic" because it breaks down into "runes". A soul artifact breaks down into souls and a relic artifact breaks down into relics.
A tier 5 runic 1h weapon artifact gives back 576 silver - as seen on my spreadsheet.

Interesting, but if, between the day you've bought the artifacts and the day you sell the runes, the rune price drop, you're making a loss right ?
Do you prevent that or is this something you dont care about ?
In theory - yes, but there are ways to prevent that in multiple ways ;)
Yeah but, what if the rune prices go down once your buy orders get in your hands?
I mean, just like in real world (and this IS a player driven economy) - in this scenario you will likely lose money. But there are ways to protect yourself against that with various market "tricks" - like giving yourself some buffer room, etc...
Rune amount for relic is 12.5 also? Can u tell me lowest recycle silver value for each tier of relic's?
yes - you get 12.5 souls from a soul artifact salvage as well
