Getting Manual Focus To Work For Photos And Videos On Nikon Coolpix P510!

So I'm testing out my new (second hand) camera, this is my first "real" camera. I only used smartphone camera before.
Before continuing I'd like to thank this channel called ‪@sang3Eta‬ aka Teds World because of him or them I'd learn to use Manual Focus.
So here's how to access or make use of manual focus : turn the camera dial to P➡️ press down aka flower icon ➡️ press down again until you find Manual Focus ➡️ once Manual Focus selected press OK ➡️ press down for macro aka close up and press up for long shot ➡️ press OK again to change focus, no need to press OK when recording video.
You can also turn the dial to M to use Manual Focus.
Drawback : no digital zoom in both P and M, you can only use the 42X zoom.
