Shout out to these four consistent guys at 125! Anyone I miss?

I enjoy the messiness of 125 this season, it would be nice to see a freshman national champ and the beginning of a great career. Stanich, Spratley and Davis all look strong enough to do well at NCAAs.

And how about Harvard's Diego Sotelo beating #1 Anthony Noto?! That was awesome to see.

To CP and my fellow wrestling fanatics out there… Here are my “WAY TOO EARLY 125lb NCAA PICS” as of Jan. 19th, 2024 assuming these guys are staying and/or getting healthy going into March. This is In no particular order but I’ll start my SF pics with Drake, Richie Figs, Ramos, and Dean Peterson going for medals. Then rounding out my AAs, I’m rocking with Stanich, Unger, Sertin and I need some help and more time deciding my tie breaker between Noto & Stevo.
For the most part, I’m rocking with the unbelievable talent of the young underclassman at this weight unfortunately leaving a lot of seasoned guys, past AA’s, and hammers upperclassmen falling short. What are your thoughts? Before coming at me with who’s beaten who or pointing one of my SF picks getting upset or loosing a couple back to backs, remember this has been the case at 25 all year long. And if you’re going to clap back, just make sure you’re replying with your SF pics and AA list as well.
I’m more than happy than to have a friendly and respectful debate with anyone but just ask 2 main things. First, come with your pics. Second, don’t disappear from the discussion in March like so many trash talkers did last year when I posted that Vito would beat Fix the day after he lost to Latona.
At 25, seeding will play a much more pivotal role in both Conference Championships & NCAA’s than normal. And there will undoubtedly be a ton of controversy when the brackets are released. However, I believe these last several weeks will paint a more clear, yet still muddled picture, for this weight. I love CP considering them “the unruly class”, and bc of that, I’m most excited to see this one as there will be more upsets and shifting around to come.🙏🏼

That assumes he will be that size when he graduates. He is really scrawny. I am guessing he will fill out more by the time he graduates high school

Why doesn’t flow use some competition or b roll footage of wrestlers for some visual representation instead of just having us look at this guy talking for 9 minutes ? Take a look at MMA on point when they make their videos you guys can do way more to grow this sport but instead would rather exploit and suck as much money out of it you can for yourselves. Flow doesn’t care about this or any sport they get into it’s all just money grabs

Fully agreed there needs to be some footage to demonstrate what Pyles is talking about. Otherwise, the video thumbnails are misleading

He would sooner complain and be part of the problem, instead of part of the answer.
If Davis wins big tomorrow night….Watch out for him the rest of the year.

Words/phrases the wrestling community needs to think about reframing
    "He's riding/he rode him hard"
"He was sucking down like crazy"
    "He's performed best from behind"
"He really put his hips into him"
Just hijacking this video really but thought of some of these the last match I watched on flow. I don't mind these, they're actually funny but, if the goal is to get new fans, I know some insecure/immature potential fans use that as an excuse to not watch. Maybe we don't need those fans anyway, in that case my comments are pointless.
Good video either way, 125# champ will be tom brands, he's been granted a COVID waiver to do one more college year of eligibility.

Instead of “needing the wrestling community to reframe words & phrases” that have been used in the oldest sport ever without any problems, I think you should try to figure out why these phrases bother YOU so much. Is your sexual orientation being “hijacked”? If so, that’s completely understandable, acceptable, and we all support you in your decision. But honestly, this comment/request shines a much brighter light onto your uncertainties and character than any phrasing that has been in our sports for decades. I challenge you to try to reflect on why these phrases seem problematic to YOU but no one else. And we’ll pray for you while you try to understand this for yourself.
Also consider this while you’re throwing stones… As you’re insinuating that CP and Flo are using these words/phrases “to gain new fans”, well what is your excuse typing out your favorites and twisting them up as some sneaky conspiracy? Could it be that you are using these phrases in attempt to gain likes? Hmmmmm. 🤔
Flo is doing just fine and doesn’t need new fans. You watch all of their free content right? I appreciate all of the time and effort they put into these videos to continue growing the sport and keeping us fans tuned in to the latest and greatest around wrestling. And then a guy like you comes in making childish, sad and unsupported claims like this.
Either way, we’re all praying for you and hope that you realize how disrespectful your comment is to the sport, the athletes, the coaches, the fans, and last but not least, to yourself. 🙏🏼

@@JG-re2bb Penn State has Media Availability sessions that are posted on You Tube. I would think that they would be of interest to most wrestling fans, even if they are not a Penn State fan. Sessions with Cael Sanderson, Cody Sanderson, and Braedon Davis are among those available. Cael thinks that Davis has attitude - in a good way.

Boring talks! Not sure what the point is to analyze an already analyzed sport topic done by experts in the relevant field, while the lecturer in this clip obviously not a wrestler himself but most definitely has physically nothing to do with wrestling!!!?
