please don't use distro kid I beg all you artists. they are very strict with copyright I got one strike and then they permanently banned me for editorial discretion and never replied to any emails I sent to support. they also continued charging me over $100 a year and after I asked him to cancel and refund they never answered so I had to force my bank to refund it and then distrokid suspended my account for fraudulence. most crooked company I ever seen and I will be suing these people when I get the chance.

Hey - thanks for the video - I have a question since getting help from TH-cam or support is pretty difficult. I did claim my channel as your video says, but I know you have to have at least THREE videos on the official Artist channel for it to merge with your own channel. I just released through Distrokid my third video - how long does it take for them to merge so I can assume control of my artist channel?

the only issue with doing this that I've found is the music videos on your channel which came in from distrokid are kind of randomly displayed and they take over the top of it as well. not sure if anyone else has found this and if there's any way to edit how they display?

I’ve recently connected my other TH-cam channel (which is now deleted) to my artist Channel through distrokid, I have 2 artist channels, there’s one with ONE song (the TH-cam channel I connected with an artist account, now deleted) on it and then there’s another with the rest of my songs I’ve released and that’s the correct one. Because my other artist channel only shows one single. And I did change the artist name, so I think that’s why it’s separated and maybe I need to delete my song of distrokid therefore the artist channel will be deleted/gone, then I can re upload the song on my actual artist channel that hasn’t been connected through distrokid for it to merge

So distrokid made MULTIPLE topic channels for me. There’s now like, 3 AUGUSTIN - Topic channels out there and it spread out my releases into these 3. When u upgrade to an OAC how can I combine all of these into that one? / what should I do. And is this a negative thing? Or is it normal. Thank you to whoever helps!!

If yu upgrade it created different channel for different artists yu have to read yu subscription to see how many artists is in that subscription
