The Story of the Two Fish
Once upon a time, there were two fish swimming in a river. They came across an older fish swimming in the opposite direction. The older fish said, "Good morning, young fish. Where are you headed?"
The young fish said, "We are swimming upstream to find the ocean."
The older fish said, "But the ocean is right behind you!"
The young fish were so focused on swimming upstream that they didn't realize that the ocean was already all around them.
Moral of the story: We should not be so focused on our goals that we miss out on the present moment. We should learn to appreciate the beauty and abundance that is already all around us.
