I'm a Technical Writer that conducts and incorporates qualitative interview data into the design of the written product. I've started marketing myself as a UX Writer now.
That’s a good decision. By the way, have you heard about a new title - Content Designer?
@@kateabrosymova yeah, and also content strategist. They're sometimes synonymous with UX Writer. Wouldn't be applicable to me, I don't think. We create facility operating procedures, and "content" usually seems to refer to website content.
@@jalexanderevans Content does refer more to website content, but I think you should check out this book called "Content Design." It defines the term as a way of answering a user need in the best way for the user to consume it. So I think it actually goes far beyond just website content.
