Greetings Dr. Siebecker and Dr. Jacobi,
I hope this makes it way to you somehow. You have provided such help and hope in my life. One quick question. In this episode (at 2 minutes in), you mention one can have small intestine constipation and large intestine diarrhea. Is there a technical term for this?
    Thank you very much,
    Amy

Wonderful information! Two of my favorite sibo specialists! I just wanted to say, my doctor gave me some resistance about giving me the ibs-smart test because I didn't have diarrhea. I did test positive to the anti-vinculin even though I have methane sibo. Just wanted to let anyone reading that it can happen.

Thanks for such a wonderful podcast. I just wanted to ask if dinking water also activates the MMC. Do you have any tips to help the Ileocecal valve? A podcast on the Ileocecal Valve would be great! Thanks,

I have Sibo-C methane. I definitely had severe food poisoning 8 yra ago. Intuitively I felt it had something to do with my health challenges. It is nice to finally see research validating the food poisoning as the culprit for my dysbiosis. My MMC is definitely out of whack. I will be trying a prokinetic to see if I can jump start it.

I was recently diagnosed with sibo for the second time i had to take a antibiotic for 5 days for bronchitis and have recently been clear of thc. I started to notice all the stomach pain returned and the gas etc. after the antibiotics and discontiuation of the cannabis in all forms, my question is could the 5 days of antibiotics and the cannabis cause this being a motility issue i don't take any medication and dont drink or smoke, i am puzzled why i relapsed its been 2 years since the first time i had SIBO.

Hi, many sources suggest taking prokinetics between meals but would that be counterproductive because it would disrupt the migrating motor complex?
