What a great find ! I'm currently on an overnighter, bikepacking to some local woods and I watched this from the chilled out bliss of my hammock, with a belly full of pasta and mocha pot coffee. Look forward to your next video. Take care girl and stay safe.
Blueberry forests are perfect for hammocks! Even more so in blueberry season. 😋 Just watching this already feels comfy. Yeah, choosing the right trees is a tough decision. 😄
Sometimes hammocks are difficult to get just right, but once you get a good hang they are just so comfortable and versatile! Some nice country you're riding in. Thanks for sharing.
Perfect timing - I recently bought an Alpkit hammock and thought I'd use the current mild Easter weather to try out my first solo woodland overnight. I have done a dry-run so already know it's a doddle to set up.
Love hammock camping BUT I always stick a tarp up just incase. You can pitch it in a way that you still get that completely open view around you from the comfort of the hammock
I recently bought a hammock,oh so comfy, and great for stargazing as I fall asleep.also for us older bikepackers,it's nice to not have to get off ground to get up!🤭👍
I've tried the hammock a few times but still feel like it takes far more time to setup and once you add the mosquito net (necessary where I live in Sweden) and a tarp (also necessary in Sweden) it's actually heavier than my lightweight tent. But it's a pity because I slept great in the hammock.
oh interesting. I feel like i would be as fast as with a tent (mine are not free standing, think they are quicker) The bug mesh is built in on this and i didnt feel it took long at all. Tarp might be faffier though!
I agree on weight though. Ive not looked at super high end hammocks, but it seems you are looking at at least 3 kilos with a tarp and under quilt. Which is lots more then my tent set up.

ooh that sounds amazing. Enjoy the rest of your ride.
Thank you for this lovely video - made me want to try hammock bikepacking :)
I only understood every tenth word but the scenery was spectacular and I got the gist of it 🙏
Haha glad you enjoyed it!
That's a great setup! There's not many better feelings than bike touring! Greetings from Canada.

oooh blaeberry season 🤤
Thanks for another great post, nothing better to relax to after a long day stuck inside the office.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
It felt really chilled. Just makes me want to join you on your bikepacking adventure. :-)
I guarantee you’ll love it especially in hot weather.
Yeah, i bet!
I do all my bikepacking with hammock. Hennessy Hammock are definitely the best ones.
good to know!

Yeah, i think i need a few more hangs to get super comfy. But its very enjoyable :)

Brilliant, i hope you enjoy it!
Cool video! I'd love a hammock but the thought of setting it up is a bit daunting! Love your bike too, Lovely set up. All the best, Adrian
it was way easier than i expected. And if you get a popular hammock, like this dd frontline, then there are heaps of tutorials online.
Beautiful spot for a hammock
I don’t know why but I just worry I won’t find the right trees if I take just a hammock! Your video makes me want to try though!

Oh for sure! I didnt have one then, but i do now :)
Amazing!
A good ride, and good campsite also
Thanks!
You're delightful 😊
nice, I just got back from a bike camping trip with my Hennessy Hammock. A bit chilly but worked out fairly well!
Brilliant! Glad you enjoyed it. Those look like nice hammocks.
Very nice video as always. Enjoyed 👍. Gordon
Thanks very much Gordon :)

Another great video Annie. What was the hammock you used?
thanks Simon. This is a DD hammock Frontline
So handy to have all those cameras laid out at the side of the trail for you to ride past.
lucky for me eh
Hi looks great, what model of hammock is? Do you know the weight, and im afraid about the back hammocks are comfortable?
Thanks!

Must be strange, so used to seeing you in videos camping without a tree in sight.
yeah, its a little different, but nice to have that green forest light
Just one night in the scary forest with scary Orks 👹walking around
Nicely done, looked great!
May I ask, what hammock was it? A Hennessy?
Thanks! This is a dd frontline
@@annieleoutside6044 Thanks for the reply!
Looks like a complete pain to setup lol. Some pros no doubt.
It’s much easier than a tent, besides you are off the ground
please consider buying tree-friendly straps. You are killing /weakening trees with you hammock otherwise! thank you
Really? Dumbest shit I heard all day.
Don’t trees heal
