Thank you for sharing your adventure and congrats, your up to 393 subscribers as I comment! When I am in my hammock my feet get cold as well and as someone said below it is most likely circulation or perhaps because of being on the edge of the hammock the underquilt may not be giving full coverage. I wear bed socks over another thin pair or down booties, helps a lot. :) Enjoy your sense of humour and yes, beer always saves the day! LOL
I know!!! 393. It's going well. I think your suggestion that my feet are beyond the underquilt makes perfect sense. I'll likely get some of the down boots. I'm sure they'll help. Thanks for watching and commenting. You're one of my regular viewers!!!
@@jacqueline7118 Excellent. It's amazing to me that people from all over the world watch these videos. Nova Scotia looks like a fantastic place for a hammock camp..

Class mate I go all over on my bike I love the wolds way I normally tent up but just got full hammock set up il testing it out in the week at Brantingham can't wait. Your vid was class
Thanks 👍. I'll look up The Wolds Way. I used to live over that way but never knew about it. Good luck with your hammock set up. You won't get a better night's sleep. Cheers 👍

@@matryderadventures yeah I invested a lot of time and money in to my hammock setup but get a perfect sleep every time and can setup in less than 2 minutes … but the issue is above tree line how to hang .. was thinking just using the tarp and cowboy camp if above tree line
Cowboy camping above tree line sounds like an idea. I imagine your hammock set up uses a sleeping pad and not an underquilt if you consider cowboy camping when you can't hang?
I've watched most of your videos now and I notice that after stirring a pot or cup you never lick the spoon or stirrer. You only tap it and set it aside. It's driving me mad! 😊 Superb video. I really enjoy your style.
Great video, it makes me want to bike camp with my hammock now. I'm wanting to use my trangia for cooking rather than just boiling. What fuel are you using here?
I love the hammock. I takes up more room on the bike but it's worth it. We use methylated spirit with the Trangia. I'm not sure if it's the best stuff to use but it works. Cheers 👍
I must admit I squirmed a bit when I realised that you were sleeping above your bike! I prefer having a soft landing area below me when hammocking, just in case 🤞
Ha. I didn't even consider that! I think I'll keep the area beneath it clear from now on. It could have been painful, or costly. Either way a bad thing. Good advice. Thanks for watching.

A really enjoyable video again, those hammock straps do look like they make life easier, would you consider taking a hammock for a long bikepacking trip?
Thanks. The straps are extremely well designed. I think you could use a hammock set up on a bikepacking trip but you'd have to take a sleeping pad for when there are no trees. I've been discussing this with another subscriber too. It could be done but it's not something I'd do. For now anyway. Cheers 👍
You are hanging left that is to say that your head is right and feet left. Most hammocks are designed to hang right that is to say head left and feet right. If your hammock works fore you all is fine. Try your puffy zipped up over your feet. :)
