For me, the intro IS the song. It's one of those rare ode to Rush moments that proves less is in fact way more.

100% agree! My only regret is not recording the whole song

Why can't people in the comment section just enjoy the video and say thank you to the uploader?
So fucking demanding and it starts to be annoying.
Btw, thank you for the video, Gabriel.

Thanks! We all know that the people that criticize DT the most, are DT fans lol

Somehow I always thought they played the opening riff live? But it’s a backing track. Crazy

They did in the past, but this time they decided to use a backing track, idk why

@@gabrielalvarez970 Do you guys mean the clean rhythmic part that supports John's first solo? I'm not sure they ever played that guitar live, I saw them with Portnoy on the Prog Nation tour following the release of BC&SL, and it was definitely a backing track. It struck me because I wasn't a fan of the concept of having anything come out of the speakers that wasn't played live. And since I've never seen a live version where that clean guitar is actually played.

@@nixneato I could swear I saw a video of JP playing the acoustic part over a backing track once, but playing it live anyway. Well, guess I was wrong lol

how Mangini butchers Portnoy's tracks is really unbelieveble. How can be such a monster drummer like MM not being able to deliver an honest version of these tracks....I cant understand.

Has to be boring to play/copy other peoples work to be honest. Also Mike is 60 yrs old lol have a heart lol he may not be able to do everything like he once did. idk the MM hate by most DT fans is exhausting to be honest lol MP quit/left/hiatus either way he has moved on. Maybe it’s time y do the same lol. Honestly what has MP done that’s so special since he left DT. Nothing memorable like Count or Tuscany that’s for sure
