Whenever I am about to use razor's burst, I just activate zhongli's shield then razor's burst and let my mind go blank.

Diluc & Keqing also has one of the longest animation burst and I hate it.
Excuse me sir, YOU WANT to be in Zhongli's ult as he sits there with his arms crossed, with his superior authority whilst dropping a meteor on your enemies forehead. Zhongli is the exception XD
@@TsunaXZ Unlike Diluc however Keqing can cancel her Ult animation to deal with more damage also long animation can save you since it gives you some invincibility frames for a bit

Or maybe he has wlf gravestone which buff all your overall phy damage by 50% by defualt if maxed out
So if you have wolf gravestone and has like 8k damage it will turn become 12k
Soooo it the damage really depends on what artifacts and constallations and weapon you have

Its an attack stat with a passive of an additional 20% always active and 40% more attack when hitting am enemy with 30% or less health but it has a cooldown. No physical damage on it

I was waiting for this updated guide for sooo long! Razor is just my favorite main dps in the entire game! Even after getting Ganyu and an Amos bow, I still mainly use Razor in the over world and abyss just because he’s so good and so fun! Going ora ora on the enemies will NEVER get boring!

@@PurpleMoon799 yeah you can just swap to ganyu back if your Razor burst is on cooldown, venti with favonius warbow just gives unlimited energy to your razor, diona noblesse oblige with her shield/heal and 2 cryo = 12% crit rate to enemies effected by cryo. Never ending superconduct.

2 more tips: 1. razor's hold ability can reach enemies in venti's ult easily. 2. I suggest using his hold version of his skill before ulting because it generates some extra particles and it's cooldown will be reset anyway.
Does the hold ability really generate more energy per charge than just the ult by itself? I didn't test it, but it doesn't feel like it.

@@Aliosar22 depends. when you tap e with razor, you get orbs that increase your energy recharge rate. when you hold e, those orbs are absorbed and each will give razor 5 energy points.

I got C5 Razor when pulling in the Venti banner, he was already pretty powerful but now I can make him into a powerhouse.
Nice, forget about c6 since it's not that good unless you need more energy recharge. Also, that 100% electro dmg every 10s is kinda trash.

A few things with Venti-Razor synergy, Razors Wolf Q does hit inside his burst and if youre just playing for fun and not dps, running a sac greatsword could let u spam 3 E holds inside his ult for beeg oonga boonga damage as a gr8 combo
They're both literally my main and sub dps, venti-razor is really a good combo!

Razor was my first main, I’m now adventure rank 43 and I still main him, he’s lvl 80 and has wolfs gravestone so i can’t really leave him coz of how I bulilt him, but this guide helped me even more
I just switched to second team since my Razor team reached full friendship level. He's so good at deleting every enemies. I used 4-set Gladiator and have been experiencing with 2-Glad 2-Bloodstained, haven't tried pale flame though.

@@moonlitreverie. hey there fellow Noelle main, I run mine with Geo traveler for the Geo resonance, crit rate and Geo particle batt to perma ult with noelle with fich, kaeya ,Barbara or xiangling for the constant off field element application to get infinite crystals so my noelle never takes damage ;)

Just got Razor on Kazuha’s banner and decided to main him
I litteraly used all my resources on him crafted a good claymore (because my r5 debate club was for noelle and Liyue’s shop sold out :( )

A great way to keep Razor’s elemental burst up is gaining 3 particles while in wolf mode, and then holding his elemental skill while in non-wolf mode to gain a great amount of energy and do a great amount a dmg

3:30 generating energy with razor is so easy if u stack by pressing "e" three times and hold it on the 4th time youll basically be just waiting for your ult cool down and you should always remember this while you're using ult cause "e" animation is faster

Been having 2nd thoughts on getting the Serpent Spine, this helps a lot!
Recently I switched to Noelle as my 2nd Main comp since I got her to C6 because of that freaking juicy giant yellow 2-hand light saber of hers but Razor will always have a place in my heart and Abyss runs.
What's your weapon for her?
@@C.HAD69 Whiteblind of course, it's her best weapon.
it's not. whiteblind kinda bad in a way because it leaves you with way too much downtime. besides, it does less DPS than serpent spine. and for overworld use, i prefer my r5 favonius over anything else. whiteblind is super good, but it's her 4th best sword. i mean, they're all very close, but yeah... it's harder to build a fully functional whiteblind noelle than other swords.
well, you CAN switch off your timepiece for an ER one and eliminate that problem entirely, but then the damage advantage it has over other swords fades away. it's still competitive that way and you'll be the tankiest that way... it's just not... optimal.
but the worst thing about whiteblind is having to build up stacks before you can ult. i HATEEEEEEEEEE that. and it actually hurts your dps a lot.
@@GraveUypo Actually no. It's one of Noelle's best weapons. There are several spreadsheets out there comparing Whiteblind with Wolves Gravestone, The Unforged, Spyward Pride and Serpent Spine and the numbers show that Whiteblind is the 2nd strongest Weapon behind Serpent Spine in raw DPS.
However, WB is not only close behind SS in pure damage. It also doesn't have the drawbacks of SS that you cannot afford to lose stacks and you are a lot less tanky and your shield is far more fragile. Once your shield breaks you lose out on a lot of dps by losing the Geo synergy buff and by losing the Retracting Blode Artifact buff. Both give a huge increase in DPS and need you to keep your shield up all the time which is a LOT easier with Whiteblind.
And you don't have to sacrifice your DPS for ER. Neither in your Weapon nor in your Artifacts. I'm running Noelle with Ningguang for the Geo synergy and i've 100% uptime on her ult with only +50% ER through substats. I guess Favonius isn't that bad if you don't have Ningguang C2 for the geo energy battery but it's just a big downgrade in dps.
Also you are not forced to stack up the Whiteblind passive before using her ult (I don't do that either but yeah, you lose some dps that way). You might lose out on some Defense% for her ult conversion but the Atk%-part still works and increases your damage. And as soon as I activate my ult the 2nd time the passive is fully stacked by then.
Ah yes, the fur suit every razor main owns, including me xD
i was especting to see how Broken Pines, Royal Greatsword and the 3 star Skyrider Greatsword worked for him, i wish you could update this guide to include those, great guide overall!

This video has helped me significantly. Now I know how to better optimize my play style and utilize his abilities. And I also now have a gauge for how good/bad my damage is compared to well built Razor sets!!! Thanks!!!
I have a level 90 razor and I sometimes regret it. So when someone reinforces him by making a video about him, makes me think that levelling him 90 is worth it
Tbh levelling to 90 is kind of a waste except for characters that scale off hp like zhongli and Hutao
you can just use him when there are physcial/normal atk challenge like the new abyss.
Yea its kinda waste if talk abt only efficency wise, but hey theres nothing wrong if thats ur favorite characters. Playing genshin its for having fun :)
It isn't worth it to level anyone to 90. 80/90, yes, for some characters, but not 90 for any character.
@@FrankOcean-- Higher base attack characters like Xiao is also good to lvl up to 90 since it scales better compared to others.
My lvl 80 razor is not even dealing half of that damage. Finding good artifacts is pure pain :(

Razor was one of my first pulls ever and hes been in slot 1 ever since. I'm AR 49 but I'm still newer to genshin and I'm working on crowning him now
thanks for the video! been mulling over whether i will switch out 4p gladiator to 4p pale flame or 2p pale flame-2p bloodstained because i am farming the domain for zhongli haha. this convinced me to go 2p-2p since i sometimes miss when my skill is ready so i would rather the consistent 50% phys dmg 😣
