i run razor xingqiu diona and kaeya, i like how dionas ult heals razor whilst also applying cryo aoe and allows razor to abuse superconduct whilst healing :D
Xingqiu is actually one of the best pairings for Razor. XQburst deals 72% (Lv5) per sword and alternates between 2 and 3 swords per attack. If you time your attacks well, that's 15 procs (realistically 14 or less) 72%*2.5*14=2520% I dare you to find a stronger burst. The fact that XQ's burst lasts exactly as long as Razor's and that Razor wants to normal attack anyways makes the synergy perfect. Long CDs are fine on Razor's teammates because Razor's Q discourages switching. What's the point of a 6 sec cd if Razor wants to stay out for 15 seconds? I would say the protection provided by XQ helps Razor stay out because you know you can tank it. Especially in abyss where switching to your healer to heal can cost you a lot of time.
I would like to contribute to this by mentioning Freezing. Having XQ allows for very easy freezing procs, which in turn allows for shatter procs. You also have to consider the fact that Qiqi still struggles to maintain constant uptime on superconducting by herself(Even with Sac sword somewhat) so running both her and Kayea is 'my' preferred choice. The lack of a Fischl(you're also missing out on her asc4 bonus without reactions) is easily subsidized by having Kaeya(who can requires next to no investment other than wearing Exile. Qiqi can too if you'd like) and made up in spade by allowing both of those to spam ults, in turn giving a lot of energy and practical immortality to Razor. Plus that immunity to interruption when XQ's E is up? Price-fucking-less.
I'm tempted to level my C6 Xingqui over Mona for him. I usually run Razor, Fishl, Mona, Qiqi. But I love Xingqui's ult. Constantly procs wet, which will either Freeze or cause Electro Charges a lot more often in his ult.

Wow, thanks for this video. I learned a lot. As a new player who picked up Razor and Chongyun, I thought running them together was a smart move for causing Superconduct in the Frost Field, but I didn't realize that my physical damage bonuses on Razor were lost in the process! That explains those "low" light-blue crits I kept seeing. Razor has been carrying me through the game really nicely, but with this minor adjustment I'll be doing even better.
Hmm I dunno about team comp, I just put in characters I like together and see what happens. My main team is Xingqiu, Razor, Klee and Ningguang or sometimes Kaeya
Ngl I didn’t really understand his reasoning for excluding Xingqiu. I personally use Xingqiu + Razor and electrocharge works just fine. It’s the same as how Xingqiu triggers all other reactions, basically. I see no particular difficulty in triggering electrocharge. Mona is a great character, but I feel like it’s comparing an apple vs orange because one is sub dps, the other is pure support. While both ults have resistance to interruption, the biggest con for Razor in general is that he has low hp. He becomes especially vulnerable with his ult, therefore Xingqiu’s ult provides healing in just the right time, so no major damage is taken. Also you can stack it with a shield from another chara for even better protection. As for the long cooldowns, every build on Xingqiu emphasizes on at least 200% energy recharge anyway. I use that and have no problems with his cooldowns. So do not be discouraged! I use those two all the time and they’re great! Hey, after all, this game is about making the best with what you got ;)
@@SugarSweet1897 because razor benefits from the elctric and cyro reaction way more than electro charge, using the first reaction reduces their armor, when u use xinqui it turns your atks into elemental power, not rly working with razors dmg and crit build, it is still good if u wanna step down to electrocharge instead i guess
@@manash9300 I know lol, but if you don't have Mona, and Chongyun is your only cryo (not enough exp to level up kaeya / no Diona), electrocharged is your only solution.
Razor + Kaeya/Qiqi for superconduct + Fiscl for High Voltage team bonus (perma ults on Razor) + Barbara for freeze reaction and +48% atq boost (from tales of dragon catalyst). Sorry for spoilers ;)

Razor, Fischl, Qiqi, Xiangling, activating Qiqi's E makes Razor immortal while also raising physical damage, Xiangling helps clearing ennemies immune to electro damage, Fischl gives the electro boost and a neat support, while also helping with the occasionnal flying ennemy
@@tonyop3491 Diluc or Amber. I don’t recommend Amber as she does so little damage. And I understand if you don’t have Diluc since it’s a 5*. So yeah, unless you have Diluc, Ziangling is the way to go.
I'm kinda having a problem with overload reaction, I can't even hit enemies if the reaction makes them fly away from the radius of bennet's ult. I guess bennet or pyro resonance only works well on bosses.

Xingqiu is an absurdly powerful support in a Razor team. Xingqiu Q deals up to 5000% of Xingqiu's weapon damage over the entire duration at Constellation 6 (compare to about 600% with Diluc's ult), and on top of that, switching into Razor's Q provides an electro-charge with every hit. Combine with a Kaeya Q or Qiqi E to add recurring Frozen/Shatter damage (Freeze is much more powerful with a Claymore DPS because attacking a Frozen enemy deals a massive bonus hit scaling with Elemental Mastery). Since I don't have Qiqi, I use Kaeya for his Stage 4 Talent (triggering Freeze with his E creates elemental particles) to help Xingqiu refill his expensive Q, and Bennett last slot for his Q to boost damage and provide healing. With Qiqi as a Cryo enabler, you could be more flexible with the last slot. I find in practice, Razor easily refills his ultimate without the help of a Electro Resonance.
i usually dont think about team comp that much, i just throw characters together, i actually use a lot of f2p characters on my team! i use razor (main dps), anemo traveller, kaeya and barbara. surprisingly it works well
I still can't decide his weapon ... Prototype Animus is pretty good but I'm currently using the skyrider greatsword. I know it has less base atk but I think it makes up for it with its bonus physical damage and the constant 40% extra atk. What do you think guys?
I absolutely love using my Razor and Yanfei together. Idk how I did it because I was really clueless about building characters up until a few weeks ago, but they do so much Overload DMG together that it isn't even funny. Plus, Yanfei's elemental DMG and Razor's phys DMG make dealing with multiple enemies super easily, even though I don't have the best artifacts for them yet
I use Razor Xiangling Fischl Barb. F2P team comp, easy constellations. When you're adventuring, one team combo (Gouba + Oz + melody loop to razor doing normal attacks) and the mobs are gone. During abyss, you do the sane combo. Oz and Gouba will continue dealing elemental damage while you grind enemies with normal attack damage, that is increased by the weapon: Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers, and eventually, Gouba's chili pepper. Once your razor burst runs out, enemies will either be dead or your team cooldowns will be ready for the next combo. What's important in this team comp is that all you need to invest on is razor. That's how razor should be since he loves being on the field. Roles: Razor - hack and slash. Xiangling - constant pyro support damage that will proc overloaded for more damage and eventually an attack buff with chili peppers. Fischl - constant electro damage, her ascension 4 talent synergizes well with razor during burst. Barb's - attack buff and melody loop to proc wet when razor comes closer to enemies and provides healing. C1 barb charges up burst by herself, so you only pull her out when you need the burst or have the elemental skill ready. So essentially the team is basically just Razor, Gouba, and Oz. With a few skills to help out. TLD;DR So much Elemental damage and reactions will occur during the chaos while you hack and slash normal damage.
Barb is the best healer in the game but , she kinda bad for one reason that she make you wet and make it hard for you against to fight cryo users thats why qiqi is the best and maybe the new 4 star Diona can make up for those who dont have qiqi
@@static3479 yep, but you can take advantage of melody loops's wet effect by going near enemies and applying electrocharge which is quite nicely paired with Oz's lightning strikes at Fischl ascension 4. (What I like to do when I'm fighting cryo is I make sure I stand in gouba's attack range.) Fighting cryo really is quite frustrating tho.
I think one of the things I like the most is that you're including the free characters you get through the story such as Kaeya and Lisa. I don't think a lot of content creators give them a second look later on down the line. Granted, I don't use them either, but for those who haven't been as lucky, this is very helpful! Razor's my other main dps alongside Diluc as 'leader' of a different team. I went with more of a survival build and went with Zhongli and Nigguang. Though after using them again recently, I think I need to put those two in their own team with one of them as main DPS.
you forget to mention an alternative support for him in bennet. you can proc superconduct first before triggering bennet's ult if you dont want overload. its a nice alternative since bennet's atk boost is actually pretty massive. its the only source stat-wise that affects phy dmg and since bennet's heal lingers and dont produce nasty effect on certain situation like barbara's. its also ideal since razor loves taking hits ( intentional and unintentional ) and bennet ult is actually one of the fastest heal tick in the game, its a trivial matter to keep razor health in tiptop shape regardless of the situation even when facing the toughest floor of abyss ofc qiqi is his best partner in crime, but qiqi is so elusive. and bennet seems more reachable to some people
I use Bennett, Rosaria, and Barbara. Razor: main DPS Bennett: good lore-wise lol, ult support, Overload Rosaria: backup DPS, Superconduct Barbruh: heal, electro-charged
Thanks for confirming all my suspicions on why overload kinda sucks for razor, like sure it does ok dmg but I always find it hard to proc with xiangling and it spreads all the enemies apart.
It is a good team if you are going for overload, but you will lose superconduct. Given that superconduct lowers physical defense and that Razor is very physical damage based, I would say that a superconduct team would be better.
I saved up for 6 months and when I was trying to pull Nahida, I C6'd my Razor before finally pulling her. He is a BEAST, but I know I don't have him set up right. Thanks for putting this out there. I am learning so much

Actually Razor and chongyun are a great combo! I use them with sucrose and fischl and they work great. I just sometimes change chongyun with qiqi. Just try combos out and see what works well with your playstyle
Arguably if you spam E correctly and/or have someone with any sort of teamwide energy generation you can keep Razor's Q up all the time even without the double electro resonance. I point this out because in abyss having two electro can be detrimental due to it being the least useful element for dealing with shields.
@@ametsz7060 She brings only additional shield to that comp, nothing more. And it's redundant, Diona's shield CD is already low, even if you hold it for max shield. I'd better use Kaeya for additional 15% crit rate from resonance or Fischl, for additinal particles, Oz dmg and superconduct/electrocharged procs.
@@overbe agreed and noelles shield have to be active so that you can heal. It’s difficult to use her in Abyss cause her shield breaks every time, thats why I prefer diona as a healer. Noelle is good, ngl, but she’s quite expensive to build :(
My current party is Razor, Mona, Qiqi, and Xiangling. I had no idea what i was doing so I'm glad I was at least sorta on the right track. Xiangling is on mostly cuz she's the only character that I have with a fully unlocked constellation and she does hella damage

Yes, absolutely. As long as you know how to make a good combo sequence, your Razor would be insane! My team includes Razor, Diona, Xiangling and Bennett. You can also go for this suggestion: First, use Diona's E, put on her burst immediately after that. Then, use Bennett's burst and Xiangling's burst. Finally, use Razor's E and activate his burst and you're ready to go!
This is the team comp im building. Razor, fischl, mona and qiqi. I start of with mona's E then fischl's E and before the last burst of mona's E i use her Q ability. Since i have 180% Energy recharge. This will easily max out my Q again and it is really good way to clear out a lot of mobs. Then i use fischl's Q and Qiqi's E and then use Razor's Q for superconduct damage on rest of the enemies. Just repeat the whole process again

ive been using razor, xingqui, xiangling and barbara as my f2p team and for most battles. ofc this isnt ideal because i dont have a good caster or archer in my team and i do have fischl and lisa as 2 options but i was hesitant to use them until i saw this video. i honestly undermined kaeya a lot in comparison to xingqui but this video was too good to ignore and im glad i didnt oof
Anemo is not that good with Razor, as its main benefit is to group, proc swirl and the Vernera set bonus. You are completely wrong about Xingqiu's damage, and I do not know what you are testing but you should try him again. Since, Razor will be on the field most of the time, his Ult CD does not really matter, You pop is ULT and it consistently wets everything and you proc electro shock. The timing actually synergize well together, but Sacrificial sword solves those issues. Also, he should not be compared Mona as his reason of being bad. QiQi is definitely not the BiS for a cryo applicator for razor to proc super conduct. Her ability is clunk and the swirl must hit, and it has a 30s cooldown. Kaeya is best in slot for allow razor comps to keep super-conduct up. You start with Razor and Kaeya first, then add others. In fact a really good F2P build Is Razor, Kaeya, and Barbara with Dragonslayer. It is also very good because you do not need to invest much into Kaeya or Barbara, bot are fine at level 40-50. You have access to both super-conduct and electro-charged. The best Razor comp (IMHO) is Razor, Bennett, Xingqiu, Fischl, but to each their own.
For me he's team are refered to their each type of skill, what can they do according to their each role in team and chosen elemental which is nice. Razor-Dps Fischl-Support Dps Qiqi-Healer and Elemental reaction Sucrose-Crowd control. The anemo such as sucrose and venti is for crowd control to make 1 spot together and to let razor kill enemy more efficient and not for their swirl.. Its depend on how you use it. The 1st team he build are the Best All around which mean it very useful until the late game without any major change. He use Qiqi because she have 2 role, as healer and give superconduct although not the best as kaeya but still Qiqi can be the 2nd best superconduct for razor and you need healer when world lv 5 soo you might use healer often and + give superconduct now that's a bonus..meanwhile your healer is benett is also good..Hes team are focus on maximize razor potential and the team are to sustain in every situation for long period. Hes build are adaptable although it might not be the greatest on superconduct, clean mob, boss, spiral abyss but its the Best All-Around Team for world high lvl and spiral abyss, the team capable on doing both of it(which is adaptable) but not the strongest team is okay, for me sustainability team are the most important in the game..and if we have versatility on weapon in 1 team is also good + you build the same character to the very end of the game. Razor-Claymore can break shield Fischl-Bow target weakness/Oceanid's bird/etc. Qiqi-Sword/Spear flexibility Sucrose-Catalyst easy to hit enemy You can swap Razor to Diluc and Fischl to Xiangling for fire elemental resonance instead of electro resonance The elemental reaction now change from Superconduct to Melt(Its not the great as superconduct but fire elemental resonance back up you a bit = 25% ATK)
@@fauzisadri6825 Did you read my whole post? Because you are saying things I already mentioned. I specifically said Kaeya is better for applying cryo. I understand what QiQi does, and the versatility she provides. I already mentioned her problem with applying cryo, and the main reason to run Razor is with super-conductor, and Kaeya is better for that reason. Since he is only using QiQi he relying on her for cryo application and healing. So, he is not intersted in the double cryo benefit, thats why why Kaeya is better. If you are only going to run ONE cryo character then it should be Kaeya for the reasons mentioned. Bennet can take the healer slot and he can buff Razors damage, and they both can cleanse status effects. Sucrose is good but that good for Razor, she can group up enemies, and it is helpful, but she truly shines for CC, Venera passive, and Swirl. However, super-conductor only reduces physical resistance, it does not do damage, so Swirl is not as effective, and Razor is Physical not elemental, so she wont get the benefit of Vernera set, Swirl is less effective because super-conductive is not damage, and honestly why cc enemies when Razor should be killing them? Also, with smart play you can group up enemies with sucrose. So, of the 3 things Sucrose does, only one works with Razor, which is the CC and it is not necessary. That is why I said she is not that good with him. It does not mean she sucks and cannot be used. How is team adaptable or more adaptable;e the the one I listed? We both have the same functions, Raxor, super-conduct, and healing. I have all the same, except Bennett is a better healer, Kaeya is a better cryo applicator. The only thing I do not have is Sucrose which does not add much but CC, again swirl and Vernera does not play into Razor's strengths. How does his team Maximize Razor when it uses Sucrose instead of Bennent? Bennent also adds overload. Again, if my team is Razor, Fish, Kaeya, and Bennett, and his switches out Kaeya for QiQi and Sucroce For Bennett the team do the same thing. All my team loses is Sucrose's CC, but we gain more efficient healing and more efficient attack boost that is more damage that swirl. Additionally, access to overload, melt and Bennett can carry in emergency situations. His team does not maximize Razor, and it is not as flexible as you suggest. His team is more reliant on superconduct than mine, because he has sucrose that can only provde swirl. And sucrose does nothing for Razor but group up enemies. Where my build has all 3 characters giving a benefit to Razor.
my current team comp is razor(dps),kaeya(cryo support),bennett(healer/pyro support),and xianling/jean(support) i run 2 pyro for bennett and xianling ult which works super well for how i play atm
my team currently consists of razor, diona, kaeya and amber (she's just a benchwarmer until i get xiangling, but i'm considering switching her with lisa after seeing this video). i'm a free to play player, but i will pull on the occasional banner

My party set up sucks right now- I’m still trying to level up some people and get some things together XD but I use Razor as a main dps, rosaria, Xingqui and Amber. You don’t know how many times I have tried to get another pyro character, I can’t keep relying on Amber lmao. I really want Bennett to fill that spot instead

having Qiqi (heal,cryo superconduct), Barbara (for ttds passive), Xinyan (sheild, phys dmg bonus passive) teamed up with my Razor makes my team stable.
Chongyun is not good for razor, But in some dungeons i do use him along with fischl because bow users are not affcted by chongyuns elemental reaction and oz will do a good amount of damage, either use barbara or qiqi with them

Because once you cross ar 35, it becomes difficult to acquire anymore character exp mats, mora or ores unless you spend it wisely. I already messed up, so I'll suggest you to hold back till you get more good characters
I'm currently using Razor, Fischl, Barbara and Rosaria and that team works pretty well.... I can spam Razor's E and Rosaria's Q so often. If I'm not being lazy I first freeze, switch to Barbara, spam her E or some regular attacks to spawn the freeze effect n then go in with Razor for superconduct
Currently, I'm using Razor, Fischl, Qiqi and Bennett. Yet you are right, a large group of mobs is tedious for him, I'll try sucrose instead of Bennett, even though the 1K flat atk I get from Bennett is still something to consider
I've been working with Razor, Fischl, Xingqui, and Diona. They're all c0, however, but I've been having a bit of fun with them. I've been a fan of Xingqui in general because of his style and the way he holds himself, so being able to use him on a team with Razor (my favorite character in Genshin) is nice indeed. I was originally using Chongyun, but I didn't think it'd work since he converts Razor's normal damage to cryo, and I didn't think that was a good idea. 🤔 I'm only about AR 30/31 though so I have a long way to go before I get some of the really good artifacts.
I was expecting to see chongyun in a comp I guess he isn't as good with razor as I thought. Please make a Chongyun team comp I want to use him so badly but I cant seem to find a team that benefits him
That is because Chongyun isn't that good as a character (currently). Many people try pairing him up with Razor or any other electro unit for the superconduct, but superconduct doesn't work the way you might think. Because Chongyun converts EVERY attack (polearm, sword, and claymore) into cryo, superconduct is essentially useless and may even lower your dps. Chongyun has the possibility to become a really good dps because of melt; however, there is no cryo damage bonus set yet, so he is really scuffed and unreliable.

Currently playing full battery-mode Razor with Qiqi+ThrillingBarbara+Fischl for Oz' electro particles to fuel Razor's Burst (so it's on 24/7), currently AR43 and still falling asleep during these fights from how dummy straight foward they are (f2p here)
I'm currently running Razor, Kaeya, Venti, Xinqiu. After this video I'm considering to replace Venti with Fishl (I'm barely using him anyways.. Don't quite have it sorted out to time so that he is swirling the correct element). Love my Xinqiu though, he's just too cool :D
If you didn’t already know, Chongyun’s skill changes your normal attacks to be cryo instead of physical damage. Superconduct reduces the target’s physical resistance and not resistance to elemental damage. This means that you would get the benefits of superconduct, but you would be unable to use them, seeing as you can’t deal physical damage anymore. So, Chongyun would probably be the worst possible support for Razor

Mona's ult + Razor's E = God power

Xingqiu is actually one of the best pairings for Razor. XQburst deals 72% (Lv5) per sword and alternates between 2 and 3 swords per attack. If you time your attacks well, that's 15 procs (realistically 14 or less) 72%*2.5*14=2520% I dare you to find a stronger burst. The fact that XQ's burst lasts exactly as long as Razor's and that Razor wants to normal attack anyways makes the synergy perfect. Long CDs are fine on Razor's teammates because Razor's Q discourages switching. What's the point of a 6 sec cd if Razor wants to stay out for 15 seconds? I would say the protection provided by XQ helps Razor stay out because you know you can tank it. Especially in abyss where switching to your healer to heal can cost you a lot of time.
I would like to contribute to this by mentioning Freezing. Having XQ allows for very easy freezing procs, which in turn allows for shatter procs. You also have to consider the fact that Qiqi still struggles to maintain constant uptime on superconducting by herself(Even with Sac sword somewhat) so running both her and Kayea is 'my' preferred choice. The lack of a Fischl(you're also missing out on her asc4 bonus without reactions) is easily subsidized by having Kaeya(who can requires next to no investment other than wearing Exile. Qiqi can too if you'd like) and made up in spade by allowing both of those to spam ults, in turn giving a lot of energy and practical immortality to Razor. Plus that immunity to interruption when XQ's E is up? Price-fucking-less.

I'm tempted to level my C6 Xingqui over Mona for him. I usually run Razor, Fishl, Mona, Qiqi. But I love Xingqui's ult. Constantly procs wet, which will either Freeze or cause Electro Charges a lot more often in his ult.

Wow, thanks for this video. I learned a lot. As a new player who picked up Razor and Chongyun, I thought running them together was a smart move for causing Superconduct in the Frost Field, but I didn't realize that my physical damage bonuses on Razor were lost in the process! That explains those "low" light-blue crits I kept seeing. Razor has been carrying me through the game really nicely, but with this minor adjustment I'll be doing even better.
Hmm I dunno about team comp, I just put in characters I like together and see what happens. My main team is Xingqiu, Razor, Klee and Ningguang or sometimes Kaeya

Ngl I didn’t really understand his reasoning for excluding Xingqiu. I personally use Xingqiu + Razor and electrocharge works just fine. It’s the same as how Xingqiu triggers all other reactions, basically. I see no particular difficulty in triggering electrocharge.
Mona is a great character, but I feel like it’s comparing an apple vs orange because one is sub dps, the other is pure support.
While both ults have resistance to interruption, the biggest con for Razor in general is that he has low hp. He becomes especially vulnerable with his ult, therefore Xingqiu’s ult provides healing in just the right time, so no major damage is taken. Also you can stack it with a shield from another chara for even better protection.
As for the long cooldowns, every build on Xingqiu emphasizes on at least 200% energy recharge anyway. I use that and have no problems with his cooldowns.
So do not be discouraged! I use those two all the time and they’re great! Hey, after all, this game is about making the best with what you got ;)
@@SugarSweet1897 because razor benefits from the elctric and cyro reaction way more than electro charge, using the first reaction reduces their armor, when u use xinqui it turns your atks into elemental power, not rly working with razors dmg and crit build, it is still good if u wanna step down to electrocharge instead i guess
@@manash9300 I know lol, but if you don't have Mona, and Chongyun is your only cryo (not enough exp to level up kaeya / no Diona), electrocharged is your only solution.

Razor, Fischl, Qiqi, Xiangling, activating Qiqi's E makes Razor immortal while also raising physical damage, Xiangling helps clearing ennemies immune to electro damage, Fischl gives the electro boost and a neat support, while also helping with the occasionnal flying ennemy

@@tonyop3491 Diluc or Amber. I don’t recommend Amber as she does so little damage. And I understand if you don’t have Diluc since it’s a 5*. So yeah, unless you have Diluc, Ziangling is the way to go.

I'm kinda having a problem with overload reaction, I can't even hit enemies if the reaction makes them fly away from the radius of bennet's ult. I guess bennet or pyro resonance only works well on bosses.

Xingqiu is an absurdly powerful support in a Razor team. Xingqiu Q deals up to 5000% of Xingqiu's weapon damage over the entire duration at Constellation 6 (compare to about 600% with Diluc's ult), and on top of that, switching into Razor's Q provides an electro-charge with every hit.
Combine with a Kaeya Q or Qiqi E to add recurring Frozen/Shatter damage (Freeze is much more powerful with a Claymore DPS because attacking a Frozen enemy deals a massive bonus hit scaling with Elemental Mastery).
Since I don't have Qiqi, I use Kaeya for his Stage 4 Talent (triggering Freeze with his E creates elemental particles) to help Xingqiu refill his expensive Q, and Bennett last slot for his Q to boost damage and provide healing. With Qiqi as a Cryo enabler, you could be more flexible with the last slot. I find in practice, Razor easily refills his ultimate without the help of a Electro Resonance.

i usually dont think about team comp that much, i just throw characters together, i actually use a lot of f2p characters on my team! i use razor (main dps), anemo traveller, kaeya and barbara. surprisingly it works well
I still can't decide his weapon ... Prototype Animus is pretty good but I'm currently using the skyrider greatsword. I know it has less base atk but I think it makes up for it with its bonus physical damage and the constant 40% extra atk. What do you think guys?
I absolutely love using my Razor and Yanfei together. Idk how I did it because I was really clueless about building characters up until a few weeks ago, but they do so much Overload DMG together that it isn't even funny. Plus, Yanfei's elemental DMG and Razor's phys DMG make dealing with multiple enemies super easily, even though I don't have the best artifacts for them yet
I use Razor Xiangling Fischl Barb.
F2P team comp, easy constellations.
When you're adventuring, one team combo (Gouba + Oz + melody loop to razor doing normal attacks) and the mobs are gone.
During abyss, you do the sane combo. Oz and Gouba will continue dealing elemental damage while you grind enemies with normal attack damage, that is increased by the weapon: Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers, and eventually, Gouba's chili pepper. Once your razor burst runs out, enemies will either be dead or your team cooldowns will be ready for the next combo.
What's important in this team comp is that all you need to invest on is razor. That's how razor should be since he loves being on the field.
Roles:
Razor - hack and slash.
Xiangling - constant pyro support damage that will proc overloaded for more damage and eventually an attack buff with chili peppers.
Fischl - constant electro damage, her ascension 4 talent synergizes well with razor during burst.
Barb's - attack buff and melody loop to proc wet when razor comes closer to enemies and provides healing. C1 barb charges up burst by herself, so you only pull her out when you need the burst or have the elemental skill ready.
So essentially the team is basically just Razor, Gouba, and Oz. With a few skills to help out.
TLD;DR
So much Elemental damage and reactions will occur during the chaos while you hack and slash normal damage.

Barb is the best healer in the game but , she kinda bad for one reason that she make you wet and make it hard for you against to fight cryo users thats why qiqi is the best and maybe the new 4 star Diona can make up for those who dont have qiqi
@@static3479 yep, but you can take advantage of melody loops's wet effect by going near enemies and applying electrocharge which is quite nicely paired with Oz's lightning strikes at Fischl ascension 4.
(What I like to do when I'm fighting cryo is I make sure I stand in gouba's attack range.)
Fighting cryo really is quite frustrating tho.
I think one of the things I like the most is that you're including the free characters you get through the story such as Kaeya and Lisa. I don't think a lot of content creators give them a second look later on down the line. Granted, I don't use them either, but for those who haven't been as lucky, this is very helpful! Razor's my other main dps alongside Diluc as 'leader' of a different team. I went with more of a survival build and went with Zhongli and Nigguang. Though after using them again recently, I think I need to put those two in their own team with one of them as main DPS.
you forget to mention an alternative support for him in bennet.
you can proc superconduct first before triggering bennet's ult if you dont want overload.
its a nice alternative since bennet's atk boost is actually pretty massive. its the only source stat-wise that affects phy dmg and since bennet's heal lingers and dont produce nasty effect on certain situation like barbara's. its also ideal since razor loves taking hits ( intentional and unintentional ) and bennet ult is actually one of the fastest heal tick in the game, its a trivial matter to keep razor health in tiptop shape regardless of the situation even when facing the toughest floor of abyss
ofc qiqi is his best partner in crime, but qiqi is so elusive. and bennet seems more reachable to some people

Razor: main DPS
Bennett: good lore-wise lol, ult support, Overload
Rosaria: backup DPS, Superconduct
Barbruh: heal, electro-charged
Thanks for confirming all my suspicions on why overload kinda sucks for razor, like sure it does ok dmg but I always find it hard to proc with xiangling and it spreads all the enemies apart.

It is a good team if you are going for overload, but you will lose superconduct. Given that superconduct lowers physical defense and that Razor is very physical damage based, I would say that a superconduct team would be better.

Actually Razor and chongyun are a great combo! I use them with sucrose and fischl and they work great. I just sometimes change chongyun with qiqi. Just try combos out and see what works well with your playstyle

Arguably if you spam E correctly and/or have someone with any sort of teamwide energy generation you can keep Razor's Q up all the time even without the double electro resonance.
I point this out because in abyss having two electro can be detrimental due to it being the least useful element for dealing with shields.

I'd better use Kaeya for additional 15% crit rate from resonance or Fischl, for additinal particles, Oz dmg and superconduct/electrocharged procs.
@@overbe agreed and noelles shield have to be active so that you can heal. It’s difficult to use her in Abyss cause her shield breaks every time, thats why I prefer diona as a healer. Noelle is good, ngl, but she’s quite expensive to build :(
My current party is Razor, Mona, Qiqi, and Xiangling. I had no idea what i was doing so I'm glad I was at least sorta on the right track. Xiangling is on mostly cuz she's the only character that I have with a fully unlocked constellation and she does hella damage

Yes, absolutely. As long as you know how to make a good combo sequence, your Razor would be insane! My team includes Razor, Diona, Xiangling and Bennett. You can also go for this suggestion: First, use Diona's E, put on her burst immediately after that. Then, use Bennett's burst and Xiangling's burst. Finally, use Razor's E and activate his burst and you're ready to go!
This is the team comp im building. Razor, fischl, mona and qiqi. I start of with mona's E then fischl's E and before the last burst of mona's E i use her Q ability. Since i have 180% Energy recharge. This will easily max out my Q again and it is really good way to clear out a lot of mobs. Then i use fischl's Q and Qiqi's E and then use Razor's Q for superconduct damage on rest of the enemies. Just repeat the whole process again

ive been using razor, xingqui, xiangling and barbara as my f2p team and for most battles. ofc this isnt ideal because i dont have a good caster or archer in my team and i do have fischl and lisa as 2 options but i was hesitant to use them until i saw this video. i honestly undermined kaeya a lot in comparison to xingqui but this video was too good to ignore and im glad i didnt oof

Anemo is not that good with Razor, as its main benefit is to group, proc swirl and the Vernera set bonus. You are completely wrong about Xingqiu's damage, and I do not know what you are testing but you should try him again. Since, Razor will be on the field most of the time, his Ult CD does not really matter, You pop is ULT and it consistently wets everything and you proc electro shock. The timing actually synergize well together, but Sacrificial sword solves those issues. Also, he should not be compared Mona as his reason of being bad.
QiQi is definitely not the BiS for a cryo applicator for razor to proc super conduct. Her ability is clunk and the swirl must hit, and it has a 30s cooldown. Kaeya is best in slot for allow razor comps to keep super-conduct up. You start with Razor and Kaeya first, then add others. In fact a really good F2P build Is Razor, Kaeya, and Barbara with Dragonslayer. It is also very good because you do not need to invest much into Kaeya or Barbara, bot are fine at level 40-50. You have access to both super-conduct and electro-charged.
The best Razor comp (IMHO) is Razor, Bennett, Xingqiu, Fischl, but to each their own.

The anemo such as sucrose and venti is for crowd control to make 1 spot together and to let razor kill enemy more efficient and not for their swirl.. Its depend on how you use it. The 1st team he build are the Best All around which mean it very useful until the late game without any major change. He use Qiqi because she have 2 role, as healer and give superconduct although not the best as kaeya but still Qiqi can be the 2nd best superconduct for razor and you need healer when world lv 5 soo you might use healer often and + give superconduct now that's a bonus..meanwhile your healer is benett is also good..Hes team are focus on maximize razor potential and the team are to sustain in every situation for long period. Hes build are adaptable although it might not be the greatest on superconduct, clean mob, boss, spiral abyss but its the Best All-Around Team for world high lvl and spiral abyss, the team capable on doing both of it(which is adaptable) but not the strongest team is okay, for me sustainability team are the most important in the game..and if we have versatility on weapon in 1 team is also good + you build the same character to the very end of the game.

You can swap Razor to Diluc and Fischl to Xiangling for fire elemental resonance instead of electro resonance
The elemental reaction now change from Superconduct to Melt(Its not the great as superconduct but fire elemental resonance back up you a bit = 25% ATK)
@@fauzisadri6825 Did you read my whole post? Because you are saying things I already mentioned. I specifically said Kaeya is better for applying cryo. I understand what QiQi does, and the versatility she provides. I already mentioned her problem with applying cryo, and the main reason to run Razor is with super-conductor, and Kaeya is better for that reason. Since he is only using QiQi he relying on her for cryo application and healing. So, he is not intersted in the double cryo benefit, thats why why Kaeya is better. If you are only going to run ONE cryo character then it should be Kaeya for the reasons mentioned. Bennet can take the healer slot and he can buff Razors damage, and they both can cleanse status effects.
Sucrose is good but that good for Razor, she can group up enemies, and it is helpful, but she truly shines for CC, Venera passive, and Swirl. However, super-conductor only reduces physical resistance, it does not do damage, so Swirl is not as effective, and Razor is Physical not elemental, so she wont get the benefit of Vernera set, Swirl is less effective because super-conductive is not damage, and honestly why cc enemies when Razor should be killing them? Also, with smart play you can group up enemies with sucrose. So, of the 3 things Sucrose does, only one works with Razor, which is the CC and it is not necessary. That is why I said she is not that good with him. It does not mean she sucks and cannot be used.
How is team adaptable or more adaptable;e the the one I listed? We both have the same functions, Raxor, super-conduct, and healing. I have all the same, except Bennett is a better healer, Kaeya is a better cryo applicator. The only thing I do not have is Sucrose which does not add much but CC, again swirl and Vernera does not play into Razor's strengths. How does his team Maximize Razor when it uses Sucrose instead of Bennent? Bennent also adds overload.
Again, if my team is Razor, Fish, Kaeya, and Bennett, and his switches out Kaeya for QiQi and Sucroce For Bennett the team do the same thing. All my team loses is Sucrose's CC, but we gain more efficient healing and more efficient attack boost that is more damage that swirl. Additionally, access to overload, melt and Bennett can carry in emergency situations.
His team does not maximize Razor, and it is not as flexible as you suggest. His team is more reliant on superconduct than mine, because he has sucrose that can only provde swirl. And sucrose does nothing for Razor but group up enemies. Where my build has all 3 characters giving a benefit to Razor.

My party set up sucks right now- I’m still trying to level up some people and get some things together XD but I use Razor as a main dps, rosaria, Xingqui and Amber. having Qiqi (heal,cryo superconduct), Barbara (for ttds passive), Xinyan (sheild, phys dmg bonus passive) teamed up with my Razor makes my team stable.
I feels so weird now for using Razor and Chongyun... They're my most built characters with Barbara and Fischl 😅
I used to use chongyun with razor but then realized that kaeya is a better support for razor
Chongyun is not good for razor, But in some dungeons i do use him along with fischl because bow users are not affcted by chongyuns elemental reaction and oz will do a good amount of damage, either use barbara or qiqi with them

Because once you cross ar 35, it becomes difficult to acquire anymore character exp mats, mora or ores unless you spend it wisely. I already messed up, so I'll suggest you to hold back till you get more good characters

I'm currently using Razor, Fischl, Barbara and Rosaria and that team works pretty well.... I can spam Razor's E and Rosaria's Q so often. If I'm not being lazy I first freeze, switch to Barbara, spam her E or some regular attacks to spawn the freeze effect n then go in with Razor for superconduct

I've been working with Razor, Fischl, Xingqui, and Diona. They're all c0, however, but I've been having a bit of fun with them.
I've been a fan of Xingqui in general because of his style and the way he holds himself, so being able to use him on a team with Razor (my favorite character in Genshin) is nice indeed.
I was originally using Chongyun, but I didn't think it'd work since he converts Razor's normal damage to cryo, and I didn't think that was a good idea. 🤔
I'm only about AR 30/31 though so I have a long way to go before I get some of the really good artifacts.

That is because Chongyun isn't that good as a character (currently). Many people try pairing him up with Razor or any other electro unit for the superconduct, but superconduct doesn't work the way you might think. Because Chongyun converts EVERY attack (polearm, sword, and claymore) into cryo, superconduct is essentially useless and may even lower your dps. Chongyun has the possibility to become a really good dps because of melt; however, there is no cryo damage bonus set yet, so he is really scuffed and unreliable.

Currently playing full battery-mode Razor with Qiqi+ThrillingBarbara+Fischl for Oz' electro particles to fuel Razor's Burst (so it's on 24/7), currently AR43 and still falling asleep during these fights from how dummy straight foward they are (f2p here)
I'm currently running Razor, Kaeya, Venti, Xinqiu. After this video I'm considering to replace Venti with Fishl (I'm barely using him anyways.. Don't quite have it sorted out to time so that he is swirling the correct element). Love my Xinqiu though, he's just too cool :D

So what about Chongyun instead of kaeya his elemental skill can be used with razor's burst so he deals cryo and electro at the same time
If you didn’t already know, Chongyun’s skill changes your normal attacks to be cryo instead of physical damage. Superconduct reduces the target’s physical resistance and not resistance to elemental damage. This means that you would get the benefits of superconduct, but you would be unable to use them, seeing as you can’t deal physical damage anymore. So, Chongyun would probably be the worst possible support for Razor
