I got him. I know he's not the most meta or the strongest and he works only with very high investment. But i couldn't resist him after doing his story in the chasm. What a sweetheart he is!!

as a xiao main, in terms of weapon choice between homa and jade, i take jade any day. tho their dmg output is close enough, however you can take advantage of jade's passive all the time and stacking it is very easy. homa is really a nice stat-stick coz of its high base atk and high crit dmg, however you'll never take advantage of the weapon's passive since xiao need either benny on standard hypercarry and xianyun or jean on his premium team.
you saw the math & heard the reasoning, my xiao does 213k plunges & i prefer homa. you get all the benefits straight-up & xianyun's buff synergises better w/ homa
if your xiao is extreme high-investment with a lot of good stats, homa
if you are mid-low investment, jade
@@Juice-chan yes, it all comes down with your stats, its just a preference and i find jade as a comfy one, since; 1. jade comes with the standard banner and u can lose 50/50 to it (weapon banner is a scam btw lols), 2. if u have already the jade, u are not obligated to pull for homa. if u have both its a win/win.
also i dont remember homa synergizes with xianyun since in order to take advantage of homa's full potential, u need to be below 50% hp.

ah re-listen to what i said in the video about homa with xianyun, you don't need the homa passive for it to be better, thing is jade's buff *only finishes stacking AFTER xianyun's buff is finished*, so homa will outdamage jade until that point. so if you're playing a short rot/high invest as in high investment teammates xiao, homa will be stronger on the whole since you get dishes all your stats upfront
i agree with you not needing homa if you already have jade, its not a huge difference, but if we're being optimal here then SOH wins in peak scenarios; you're mistaking being able to use jade's passive as the deciding factor of it winning over PJWS which is not the case, because the passive does not stack fast enough to beat homa

It ain't easy being a f2p Xiao main, but someone's gotta do it lmao. I hope to grab a few cons one day, right now I've got Jean and Faruzan. (Plus a solid Juice guide!) I just need his jade spear, Furina and some better artifacts!

After loosing my 50/50 to Furina, I used my Guranteed on Xianyun. A while back I got his Jade Spear from Standard Banner, and now he's finally back. I won my 50/50 to him at 74 Pulls, so this was just what I needed! Thanks.

so strange that they made him a big part of his lore, yet they have only talked a few times in the 3.4 story (which people who weren't there for it will have missed) (ig he's in xiao's trailer) & have 0 synergy outside of venti being a cope battery pick lmao

I got Xiao pretty early. And by that, I mean I got him about 2 weeks into the game. I'm only like 3-4 weeks into the game right now and don't have much stuff, but Xiao is my strongest character. I do recommend him.

Why’s it that the only time Xiao got such a huge buff is when I left to take a break from the game. Me, a hardcore Xiao main that has busted stats in several sets for Xiao including full set vermillion and 2 pieces. Life is not daijobu

I will say it for the million time 4 desert xiao is the best for c0 and paired with Bennett., i am 80% sure i will prove it tomorrow [just do 1 or 2 charged maximum will gain 40% plunge bonus it's nearly like having 4 shiminawa xiao without draining energy + 2 piece is better because it's animo bonus ]
Got furina, Xianyun and faruzan c6 for him and of course vermilion and homa so I guess im going to start farming marechaussee
you would think the catch is goated weapon for xiao but dang. i guess the weapon doesnt translate well since burst damage isnt what actually contributes to his damage sad

The amount of investment u need for him to work is absurd. U can literally do that for any character at this point. Weapons,levelling up all 3 talents,insane artifacts, c6 faruzan, whole ass 5 star unit in xianyun, and ofc furina. Its really not worth it imo and its barely achievable for 90% of players
I had 31 wishes saved for him. Guess what I got him on my first wish. Then I decided to pull for primordial spear. I got the weapon in my last wish! Thanks for this guide and gl to everyone pulling for him!
Hi, i just got xiao and may or may not get his wep ( im pulling for it but havent gotten a 5 star ). I dont really have any weapons for him right now but is white tasle okey for him? or should i try favonius lance? Right now, i gave him a team consisting of Xiao, Sucrose, Bennett, Diona ( i dont have zhongli LMAO ). I do have faruzan but shes only c0 and i dont have enough to level her up. I have xingqiu too but idk if i can use him on the team. Could u suggest me a rotation for this team? Ty! Amazing guide!
if you have already a good crit ratio go for fav lance because;
1. xiao needs a lot of atk and fav lance has higher base atk compare to white tassel.
2. xiao need a decent amount of ER, so fav lance can help that er need.
white tassel is just a stat stick, its passive doesnt synergize with xiao.
pull for PJWS if you can, & yes white tassel is good
only use favonius lance if you want to play xiao/bennett/xiangling/hydro otherwise the weapon is not that good
white tassel is a fine stat-stick
use faruzan instead of diona, you don't need a shielder in xiao teams
she will still be a massive DMG increase
rotation; farzuan EQ bennett EQ Sucrose EEQ (assuming she;s R5 TTDS or on sac frags) Xiao EEQ

Who can I replace with xianyun? I'm currently running xiao, faruzan & furina.. I only have jean at c3 :(
benny is a great replacement because his ATK buff will boost xiao in AOE as well! whereas XY's buff only applies in AOE :)
the main flaw here is that benny doesn't do teamwide heals, & can't trigger furina's healing overflow A1 due to his 70%-healing rule, but its still very good

so, yes you can use venti with xiao, but its not the most effective thing ever. sometimes i force it out of love lmao
against things that venti can group, xiao can hit those enemies with his plunges, but trash mobs will be out of xiao's reach
kazuha is fine if you're trying to boost furina's damage, but he's always a bit of a waste in xiao teams imo. esp because you have other VV options who can offer other things as furi already gives herself SO MUCH damage bonus
yes, that team WILL work, but if you can use jean on 4VV i'd rather you use jean
faru should be on 4tenacity

i would argue wanderer is still expensinve since you want C6 faruzan for him, but he is able to utilise 4* weapons a lot better than xiao

It's probably best that you don't get Xiao if you are thinking of getting him as he's not the BEST dps so if you want a good dps go for neuv arlechinno or Alhaitham (also lyney if you want) and if you really want an anemo dps wanderer is the best anemo dps

Why to xiao with Furina Shanyun and C6 Bennett for 200k plunges when you can do Gaming in the same team and hit 500/600k plunges?
Gaming does at best do 300k - 350k per plunge. He has also to wait for his pet to come back so one plunge will be not empowered. To do 300k he needs to vape of Furina's hydro which she doesn't apply consistently. Gaming is really good, but he doesn't make Xiao obsolete.
@@Juice-chan in you videos you are showing high investments on xiao . C6 gaming its like 3x more than Xiao . Xianyun gives like 70/80k single target bonus damage Gaming can vape that bonus without his damage. There are already plenty videos of Gaming vapong over 500/600k in last abyss because of Xianyun massive single target buff. And its exploited in that video .
tell me are most people actually hitting 300-350k plunges on him, consider rotation times & realistic setups. xiao will do more on average
Xiao has more dmg per second while Gaming has more dmg per screenshot.
It’s what we call Damage Per Screenshot and it does not reflect the overall performance of a character
That is totally incorrect because new Xiao without c6 faruzan and xianyun its basically usless . And bearly surpass any 4 star on dps . And its much misinformation because his teams are so much investment. Its close to get 5 new 5 stars just to make him work . And on top of that its close to Barbara and deyha on high investments.

The issue comes from missunderstanding of the video and the unnits you need to do that in the video ! Because Xiao banner its right on the corner !
