I like the monochrome lens on the P10 and P10 plus - particularly how it can feature something in colour with a monochrome background. Could you let me know if the Honor 9 also has this feature, please? It will help me decide which 'phone to buy. Thanks.

I don't see a lot of reviewers talking about the monochrome background with color foreground option.. I think that is such a good feature that when polished will be such a great option

Taola. I have this feature on my Honor 9 so I think it may be the same on the P10. What you need to do is just take a picture. Then select 'edit'. Then select 'splash' and the whole photo becomes monochrome, and a little circle appears that you move to wherever you want part of the photo to be in colour. It works best when there is a strong colour such as red. Hope this helps.

I've had my P10 Plus for a few months now, i only use it for stills. But I think this is something that can be corrected with another software update.

I got a P10, the camera is slower at opening and shutter speed is slower too but detail is higher, some images and videos a bit grainy when not focused.
I'm deciding between this p10 or s7 both same price which one do you think? great review

I have P10 Plus, i think when i try shoot on the red color, like flower, the color is over exposure. still want to learn the best composition for this device.
another is, when i scroll text, the detail black color isn't good, you may have seen its changed to green color.

red is, in general, a really difficult color to capture.
Saving up for this phone, the one plus x i own now and I'm typing this comment with's camera is broken. It's black screen and we tried almost everything to fix it. The Huawei's camera quality and slow motion is 20x better then this phone. Good job
I wonder why people keep repeating that 1080p is not as good as higher resolutions on phones..You can't see pixels anyway on that screen size from a normal viewing distance. A higher res would be nothing but a disadvantage to both battery and CPU
