Looks like Lizzy is helping the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. Look under the tail and put the ring lower than the caudal line, especially helpful to the females in keeping the integrity of the pelvic floor. Good job young Jock doesn’t do everything he’s told when you say “lie doon”.

Jock is going to be a TH-cam influencer in no time! That is a wonderful bonus to build a flock, purebred lambs! Really you could have kept a good ram lamb out of the best ewe for breeding back to the ewes (unless Lizzy's registering them). I hope promoting the new ATV brings lots of customers to Thomas Murray, John was very informative about the specs. Maybe we should start a mishap pool, on how long it takes for you to put dents in it!🤣With all the rare breed dog scams lately, I was expecting you to show us a lambadoodle.

Little Jock is going to be taking over soon better watch out. The new UTV will be perfect for the farm, looks like you could put a cage on the back to carry rams or ewes to where they need to go. Also if big Jock comes over and has a wee bit to much to drink you can roll him in there and "drop" him off some where (just a suggestion 😁).

Lambs should be docked to the thirt palpable joint or the tip of the vulva. Ewes to have vulva covered to avoid sun and freezing conditions. Males same length as females.
This form of docking allows ewes to channel urine and faeces away from the body and limit soiling and staining.

@@patpierce4854 honestly just curious about both the sheep and cattle now you mention it. I’m from a rural area in Northern Ireland but not spent much time around farms, so really only know a little bit here and there.

I hope Lizzy makes you get regular cancer screening. Yeah, I know farm men hate to go to the doctor, funny video about that: th-cam.com/video/Ni0YfrSK570/w-d-xo.html The Farmer Pain Scale
