Totally creative and so affordable. Not crazy DD or boutique cupcake shop prices where you’re paying $5/donut.
That sure looks like a lot of great food you were able to try there in Memphis, Christine! I hope they have some of those same dishes up in and around Nashville because I'd like to try a few of them when I go there at the end of April. Now I'm really craving some of the foods we have back home that I haven't had for a while...thanks for sharing with us! ❤

Were there foods you recommend that are non meat?
@@grrrltraveler Well, when I went to Beale St years ago, I was still eating meat. But, if I were to walk down Beale St THESE days, I'd still go to a BBQ place and order collard greens, baked beans, cornbread, Mac n cheese, and pecan pie! And wash it all down with a BIG A$$ beer!🍺 I would just eat around the meat, like getting a buttermilk donut and coffee, or a pretzel with mustard for a walking snack.

Every food in Memphis, Tennessee looks delicious, Gus Chicken has been featured in many tv shows and many told in reviews it's delicious and awesome, what's your favorite donut? I love to try new food items across the globe. Great video and a big thumbs-up.

Thank you for the great video. I'm on my way to Memphis and I travel to eat lol. This is the second video I've seen where the cheese on nachos are not melted. Is that a Memphis thing?

And possibly a good portion of Memphis. Central has delicious bbq, but Memphis has over 100 different bbq spots, last I checked. I'm from here. Asking who had the best bbq can easily start an hours long conversation, as they all have their own unique flavors. I have 4 or 5 that I really like, but pretty much all for different meats.
