I can push a lot of those back pins out with my fingers. I sincerely don't know what roads are like in non-snowbelt areas of the States, but I theorize that our potholes are responsible for phenomena like loose roll pins and such. It's March now, so they're beginning to bloom with the freeze-thaw cycles...
Thank you. It works with nearly all the roll pins on this system. Rear retaining pin is larger diameter but if you compress it with the auto center-punch, it works.
@@JarethGarza I am presently drilling a hole in the locking bar channel and punching which works great, but anything that makes removal of the cylinder retainer roll pin more straightforward is worth looking at. I already have the Accu - Reader kit as you do.
Total waste of time and money. Just take a paper clip and bend a tiny crook at very tip. You should be able to get the paper clip all the way through the roll pin. Hook the backside of the roll pin with the crook and yank out the roll pin.
i like the part where you say, “should,” showing you’ve never actually done what you’re suggesting. Youre probably not even a locksmith or mechanic. Youre probably someone “smarter,” than us LOL
@@JarethGarza I said "should" to indicate ANYBODY should be able to do it because of how it easy it was to do. It's a fucking roll pin--not some intricate part for a medical device. And I actually did it twice--once on the replacement lock assembly I bought from eBay and once again on the one still attached to my car after realizing how stupid easy it was to use a paper clip. Why don't you go find yourself enough intellectual curiosity to try it out yourself instead of calling bullshit?

Like the idea of tapping the inside of the pin. It works on the outside retainer pin as well?
Congratulations on the new addition my man.

I believe, that if U flip the puller around 180 *, U would not need to use the key as a shim.
Not correct

Works if the pin is well lubricated and loose, otherwise paper clips just bends or breaks
