Have a 94 extended cab slammed, so this gives me info on those 22's on the rear. Thanks on that end, no intentions of getting rid of my truck anytime soon. Great looking truck, you are an inspiration on what can be done with an OBS
Great looking truck! I loved my 94 half ton dash but love my 98 big block performance. Great investment of $8000 worth of wheels on a $5000 dollar truck! Don’t worry, mine needs paint. Yours is shiny!
that usually go in the inside of hr wheel,so the aluminum wont get glue to ur adapter ,always carry or spary some ki d of libricant inside or ii wil thru trying to get those out later on,they look great
That pickup is either a 92/93 year model because 92 was the first year for OBS crew cab pickups & SUVs & 93 was the last year for that grille design. The first year for OBSs was 88 but they only came in regular & new extended cab pickup models at the time because crew cab pickup & SUV models with the previous square body design were still in production which lasted up through 91.
That looks awesome. Great choice. I have an 89. Many updates coming. Pulls a 28’ enclose with race car and equipment. You have issues with rubbing when pulling. ? Air bagged. C-notched ? Thanks.
Btw, if you have the premium visors, ie with lighted mirrors, those are easily recoverable at home with the fabric of your choice and reuse the cardboard inners. Just need some tacky fabric glue to tack jsut the edges to the cardboard inners then glue the inners edges together. I did it in a couple hours with 0 experience and sans videos or instructions. If not any 98-99 denali Escalade has them, Escalades are already grey. Most Suburbans had them too. No mater how tattered the fabric is (mine were junkyard and fabric dry rotted) , a careful disassembly will show you how the reassembly should go. Just remember NOT to cut your fabric to match the hole where the mirror goes, it actually issupposed to be trapped between the two layers of the mirro aseembly! If you do that like I did, the hole is far larger than the mirror itself!
The tires have an XL load range which is between 1,800-1,900 lbs max load per tire. That’s plenty for what I will be using the truck for and most towing applications.
Correct. I also run a black cap to hide the inner better and a chrome/ billet cap for the outer. Plus the inners are the ones that wind up getting dropped and lost! I also recommend grabbing a set of spare valve stem inserts with the install tool from Walmart etc, as occasionally you will get one that loosens up and needs to be retightened/seated. Bet thing I’ve found for filling and checking pressures on duals is the Kobalt pistol grip chuck with analog gauge from Lowes had a yellow 8 hose amd latching connector. can often find on sale. Add your airline fitting and you can add or lower pressure easily on inners or outers. Inners are hard to check with a rigid type or one that doesn’t latch to the stem imo. Amd as you just discovered, they still will hit the fenders up front, including the top of inner fender wells, and will rub tire on the rear glass fender lip. Now that you angled them, they will continue to self clearance the top6-8 inches of the lips back about 3/8” or so.
It looks great for him but I would rather it looked more like a truck with a bit more clearance, at least adjustable air suspension so it could tow a trailer or haul something in the box but then again I use my truck. His is a show truck. To each his own.
Man i want to get some for my 86 and im so confused what i should get lol 🤣 i don't want chrome either truck is a raty work truck build the wheels are going to change the look so much
Wheels and stance make all the difference in the world. Great job on the dually. I’m getting those gauges on mine!!!
Mega holes look sick ✊🏾
Damn the wheels made all the difference!!! At first I wasn’t sure about the white two tone bottom but damn it looks good!!!
Would love to do this on my 4door lifted Tahoe ❤
I'm in the process of fixing mine back up, 95 Chevy 3500 dually .
Nice work bro 👍
I’m running these same wheels on my 83 Dually and they will tuck if it’s bagged. I’m lowered 7 in front and 9 out back.

That's Super Hard!!

You just keep making this truck better and better
Badass Dually brotha! Super clean! I miss mine, I’m definitely getting another one. They look so damn good layed out on semis!!!
New wheels look great. Look forward to seeing it with graphics.
18:30 That pause was hilarious. Almost spit out my coffee.
🤣🤣

Dude it is such a good lookin build.
Thanks!
Trucks bad ass bro !!! Great tip on fender roll my obs chewed the crap out of my Front tires. Keep killing it👍🏽
Nice truck🔥🔥🔥 where did you buy the adapters
510 with a wool pad on the rotory, then 520 with foam is the way to go.
I'm ol' school. Use an aluminum T-ball bat to roll the fenders.
Where did you find that bed? I have a 94 crew crew cab 4x4 building
I think the bigger holes in the rear is to dissipate the heat that those large brake drums create ....🤔🤔
Aww man that thing beautiful
how wide is the front wheel? i found 22,5x9" but worried it will be to wide in the front
Yes, I run it. It fits inside mine and protects the alloy from getting a groove in it.
You don’t run the plastic piece between the wheel and the hub covers. Those things would melt anyway.
use a wooding base ball bat to roll the fenders will need two people
What are you doing with your old rims?
I'm going to clean them up and hang no to them for now.
Are you concerned at all with the loss of power and loss of braking running those adapters?
I was at first but I’ve put 8,000 miles on the build and the truck performs close to stock but the ride is a little rougher with the thin sidewall.
Cant wait to see the graphics on that bad boy!! Wheels are sick my dude
Thanks man. Graphics will be on soon!

Thanks for the tip man! I’ll have to look into this when I get back from the Power Tour.
Can you send me the link for these wheels n adapter’s
Are the 22” tires made in a heavy duty load rating?
The tires have an XL load range which is between 1,800-1,900 lbs max load per tire. That’s plenty for what I will be using the truck for and most towing applications.
@@motortopiaondemandI have the same wheels and I’ve pulled a 16,000lb load with my tilt gooseneck on my 83 Dually. No problem and 25,000 miles.
the valve stem should be 180degree out for safety . if something gets ebtween the dualls you wont take out both tires
Thanks for the heads up!

Can’t believe my stepdad sold his 350 for $1500. Looked just like your truck but red with red interior
What a loss!
What tire sizes you running?
265/35r22 for all tires.
Would look good if it wasn’t for those cheap looking caps
Malleable........ 🫤
😂😂😂
Not paint clear coat, unless you don't have clear coat on your truck
Semi wheels only 22.5 inches get some 28 inch or taller or they will laugh you out of the hood with 22.5 inch wheels. That was so 20 teens wheels
You should leave that truck like it is don't add stuff to it.the new rims are good enough people over do it
To each their own. You build and admire your old shit and we will admire the new generations pieces of art.
Taking a pickup, any pickup but especially a dually 454, and slamming, lowering and tucking it, just looks awful.
Why 😂 sound crazy to say that
