LT6 (flat plane C8 z06) + TR-9080 (z06 8speed DCT) !! Be the first to do it. Price tag is insane but the views on that build series would be through the roof. 🤞
Justint that truck looks like the day it rolled of the assembly line, except for the day one mods. That would be good one to install the Ridetech suspension kit you had floating around, if you still have it. No one would know it's on the truck. The ridetech is all bolt in, C notches are all ready cut in so the only cutting would be bed support rail. It would be lowered the best way possible and still be able to be put back to factory. Also Flaming Rivers has a new bolt in rack and pinion kit out, the rack itself is made for OBS's. It made a day and night difference on the steering in my truck. I made a couple videos of it on my chanel.
This is the CLEANEST OBS I've EVER seen😃😃😃 I'm not gonna lie, I am ABSOLUTELY in love with the 88-98 Chevy OBS😍😍 The Torq Thrust wheels give it a classic look👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾 I believe you should do the same thing with the past builds with a different LS motor👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾 This truck reminds me of my old OBS that to this day I regret selling😢😢 Shout out to you Justin✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾
You're right, too nice for an LT4 or LT5 swap. LT6 it is. Flat plane, baby! Seriously, though. Beautiful truck. Hope y'all put your special touch on it
What a well preserved example of the OBS GMT400!! I've owned a total of 14 GMT400's and still have #13 and #14. Both are in exceptional shape, but I have to give the win to my 1997 C3500 that's sporting a mere 78,000 miles on the clock. Enjoy it in good health Stang Killer!
Not sure if you dug into the motor yet or not. I can understand if you rather Keep it stock . But one way to pep it keeping it stock is vortech superchargers makes a kit for it. Well they use to anyway. But that being said it will give you to much power for the 4l60e. It will make it slip when bust starts in. All you do with the kit is add on. You do nothing to the motor other then better head gaskets. It will come with a throttle body plate that will spray two injectors at 1 pound of boost and it stays around 7 pounds of boost. If you can do a little programming it would help but mine was a 94 so it wasn’t a vortec motor. But it gave my 94 a huge gain compared to stock. I kept the motor original looking. I did bore it 30 over and did a little head work. Stock crank two bolt main. It gave it close to 500 hp after it was all said and done. That was because I modified mine. I wouldnt touch it yours unless u had a buyer for a modification. It’s such a beautiful truck. Whoever did it nailed it
Had 3 of these trucks and loved everyone of them know them from front to back top to bottom one if the greatest generations of trucks 88-98 all 3 of mine were later model round dashes my first one was a 98 Single Cab Short bed cheyenne 4.3 4l60e with 62,000 original miles jet black tan interior bench seat
Talk about a time capsule!! I had to laugh when you pointed to the Blackwing….of course you bought one. Justin has one of the baddest fleets on TH-cam.
I wouldn't do nothing but clean the water spots off of it and put it up. Honestly it would more likely than not ever get driven and still look like this 30 years from now because I'm in Florida so there's that.
You can tell when he's excited.. He uses the following words: emmaculate, mint, pristine consistently lol. Love it! What happened to the black 454ss truck with the tan interior you bought?
Change the exhaust and do a few mods to the engine, but keep it relatively stockish. Remove the stripes and change the wheels. Change the steering wheel.
Maybe add a cowl induction hood, to me the stripe could stay or go. But the Torque Thrust wheels look sick on it! I wouldn't change them! It's way too clean to be adding a turbo or any of that in it, there are way more trucks out there for that. Don't go ruining this one!😲
Great looking truck. Looking forward to watching the process to get to the final product. Just curious, what kind of shocks you run on these lowered obs trucks? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
I hate the steering wheel. The 98 and above have the smaller airbag section that look nicer. I would put a stroker kit, cam, longtubes. Keep the top side of the engine as close to stock looking as possible.
That truck is MINT !!!!!! honestly I love my OBS trucks LOW, so maybe drop it another inch, swap out the wheels, 4 wheel disk brakes other than that its perfect.
Pull the 350 and the original transmission out of it wrap it up put it away don't use it for anything else sell it with the truck if you di sell it, put an LS3 in it NA put a built 4L60 in it build the 10 bolt Put some modern wheels on it then just drive it install so it all looks factory
Save this one. Somebody has babied this for 20k mi and it would be a shame to throw all that effort away. You and the boys will mod another 20-30 OBS's down the track.
You guys keep finding cream-puffs. I think you need a reality check, so I'll let you work on my 306k mile '93 C3500 crew cab long bed! 😊 it's spent its entire life in central Indiana and northern Kentucky.
REMOVE PINSTRIPES REMOVE TOUCH UPS IN INTERIOR REMOVE CARPET IN BED AND REMOVE BED COVER PUT A SET OF WELDS ON IT AND PARK IT THAT TRUCK IS UNREAL CLEAN
What should we do to this truck? Comment and let us know!
Lt4 swap
Yeah what he said 👆
Full bolt ons with your choice of wheels 💯
I think ridetech air suspension would fit this truck so well
LT6 (flat plane C8 z06) + TR-9080 (z06 8speed DCT) !! Be the first to do it. Price tag is insane but the views on that build series would be through the roof. 🤞
There isn’t many people that I like every single thing they do to a truck but yall. You make them pretty much perfect.
That might be the most gorgeous truck I’ve ever seen
Justint that truck looks like the day it rolled of the assembly line, except for the day one mods. Seeing you with your dad makes me wish I had one to talk to every now and then 💯🤘 great content
Thank you! He’s a blast
Museum quality!
I like the polished a/c lines, it’s a nice touch that I’ve done a time or two myself!
Hot dog 🌭 that’s a nice OBS!
Love the OBS truck episodes and really loved the Ram. Can’t wait to see what all else y’all do! Let go people we need this burnout video.
You're right, too nice for an LT4 or LT5 swap. LT6 it is. Flat plane, baby! Seriously, though. Beautiful truck. Hope y'all put your special touch on it
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL TRUCK , I WO DO JUST WHAT YOU SAID WITH IT AND LEAVE IT ALONE. JUST DRIVE IT HERE /THERE💯👍👏👏👏
That’s the plan

Upgrade the ecu to the 98-99 so it can be easily tuned & add a pro charger, alot better than doing the whole swap thing..
Wow what a find. Beautiful truck best one yet
Ive been here since the early days.Seen you make things happen congrats 100k
20” weld wheels fully polished with a 6” lip in the back/narrow rear end.

I saw it on Facebook yesterday it's super clean
Yeah it is

Basic build, LT6.2, mild cam, full exhaust and a 10spd trans. Daily driver status.
Now I want a 97!
Awesome truck! I live in the KC area so hope to see it live.
I really was looking into a square body but after seeing this truck I might see into getting an obs now
Truck looks amazing 🤩 I could only hope I could get mind to look like that one day
Your in KC aw man I’d love to see that truck in person
Talk about a time capsule!!
I had to laugh when you pointed to the Blackwing….of course you bought one. Justin has one of the baddest fleets on TH-cam.
Dang! What a nice obs. The nice ones are getting hard to find.
wow thats amazing, i want mine to look that good
Is a very nice and clean truck.and if your serious about getting rid of the roll pan i have a 97 extended cab and im looking for a roll pan for it
I wouldn't do nothing but clean the water spots off of it and put it up.
This one definitely excites me haha
Change the exhaust and do a few mods to the engine, but keep it relatively stockish. Remove the stripes and change the wheels. Change the steering wheel.
Hope I can get one soon

Worth more turning it back to factory stock i wouldn't mod it. It'll be harder to go back the further its modified. But that's just me. Awesome ride!!
Awesome truck . What lift is that in your garage?
Rmeminded me of the sport model Boyd Coddington used to have on full 17” polished Torque thrust 2s🤤😍
That thing is super clean
Its like time stood still for this truck
Beautiful truck
Some1 spent a lot of time cleaning an prepping this truck. Those a.c lines are 100% polished.
Yeah they did! Pretty crazy
@@StangkilrProductions awesome truck. I'm drolling over here!!!!
Great looking truck. Looking forward to watching the process to get to the final product. Just curious, what kind of shocks you run on these lowered obs trucks? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
How do you even touch something this clean, Of course upgraded drive train and wheels but everything else I will keep as is even the color.
Wheels and maybe a couple little mods are all we will do to this one
Its a beauty. I would only change the wheels. An engine swap would be tempting though.
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I hate the steering wheel. The 98 and above have the smaller airbag section that look nicer.
I would put a stroker kit, cam, longtubes. Keep the top side of the engine as close to stock looking as possible.
That truck is perfect
What a coincidence haa.i just got a 89 chevy single cab w extended bed super clean with 20k original miles....FOR FREE! ...man im still in shock haha
It's super nice. I would just drive it.
can you do another 1990 chevy truck? but in black interior?
If you decide to sell the wheels and tires please let me know. They are exactly what I would like for me truck.
Any aftermarket stuff for the vortec stuff. Heads cam etc??
Great video and truck!!
Ok ok what did u give for that brand new truck
Did they polish the A/C lines ?
No "N" in immaculate.
Change the wheels remove the stripes drive it
Yup!
I’d do a Holley terminator and convert it to modern fuel injection and coil near plug with LS coil packs. Then drive it.
Looks just like it came off the showroom floor in 1997
That truck is MINT !!!!!! honestly I love my OBS trucks LOW, so maybe drop it another inch, swap out the wheels, 4 wheel disk brakes other than that its perfect.
I agree man it’s pretty damn perfect
Pull the 350 and the original transmission out of it wrap it up put it away don't use it for anything else sell it with the truck if you di sell it, put an LS3 in it NA put a built 4L60 in it build the 10 bolt Put some modern wheels on it then just drive it install so it all looks factory
I think it would be cool if y’all did a 2.0 LTG swap out of a 16-19 camaro the turbo 4 cylinder
Hello, ask what red is the one on the truck?
Nice Truck!
Mint! 🎉
Hey there how much will you sale them rims for
Needs a 632 crate
That’s nice man 🔥
Uffffffff can’t wait for a lt4 swap
*build a f150 4x4 already*
We do at the shop all the time!
Save this one. Somebody has babied this for 20k mi and it would be a shame to throw all that effort away. You and the boys will mod another 20-30 OBS's down the track.
We ain’t going to do much to this one
I think besides personal touches... I'd leave it alone....
Or a small turbo on the 350 with updated fuel injection
Do a Holley terminator with coil near plug conversion. Ultimate driver.
Why LT over LS when doing the swaps? LT seems way more complicated and expensive.
They’re better and newer.
Tremendous!
You guys keep finding cream-puffs. I think you need a reality check, so I'll let you work on my 306k mile '93 C3500 crew cab long bed! 😊 it's spent its entire life in central Indiana and northern Kentucky.
I live in KC man I see reality checks everyday 🤣
@StangkilrProductions can't wait to see what you guys do to this one!
Thank you guys for sharing this with all of us!
REMOVE PINSTRIPES REMOVE TOUCH UPS IN INTERIOR REMOVE CARPET IN BED AND REMOVE BED COVER PUT A SET OF WELDS ON IT AND PARK IT THAT TRUCK IS UNREAL CLEAN

What tonneau cover is that

I’d upgrade the wheels and leave it alone… too original to touch
