Best review of the f150 I have seen. Well done. The one question I have is if it can tow 3.5 to 4.5T does the suspension have to be upgraded to cope with the towball download like the Landcruisers, Patrols, Rangers, Hiluxes etc. Really aggravates me how they are sold as capable to tow 3.5t but only if you spend another 2500 to 5000 dollars to do so. Love to know.
Our (USA/Canada) tow ratings are normally lower for the same vehicle than Australia or Europe due to having to comply with SAE J2807. The rating on the F150 Lariat CC 6.5' bed is 9,200lbs/4,173kg. That's only about 700 lbs less than the desired 4.5t tow rating. However, I would not want to tow more than 8,000 to 8,500 lbs for very far with any of the US half ton pickups. They are capable, but sprung a little too soft and only run D load range tires. I would take one over a Toyota Land Cruiser, Nissan Patrol/Armada, Range Rover/Land Rover or any mid-size pickup if those were my only choices, but a 3/4 ton (250/2500) will tow that weight with far less driver fatigue.
Very nice and clear review.
Beat F150 Review I've seen yet. Cheers.
Best review i have seen yet, very detailed.
Glad you liked it!
Fantastic work. One of the best detailed explanations on the functions with the vehicle. So much to learn but a very safe vehicle with the technology.
It's a fantastic car, glad you found the walkthrough helpful.

As far as I understand it, no. The only thing you need to change is the tow ball/tongue itself.
