Did I just watch a Moto GP ha ha loving it, I have a Ducati scrambler 1100 and it’s super sticky on the bends even with the standard scrambler tires but do run out of lean so looking for some more sporty tires, any suggestions
What a perfect riding...but my old mechanic always told me "to go fast you just need to go flat out and brake a little ... to go fast and well you have to go flat out and know the taste of the baked apples they give you at the hospital ...."
That would be the Tail of the Dragon, a pretty well known road for bikers and car enthusiasts around North America, on the Tennessee-North Carolina border. The tail is quite twisty (318 turns in 11 miles) and all the roads around it (cherohala skyway, moonshiner 28, and any other roads) are faster with more flow. I've been twice, splitting an airbnb with 12 or so friends, total blast.
All that track riding with that XR must give you plenty confidence. Awesome ride! Amazing pace man. I see the guy in front was trail braking a few nice corners, do you also trail brake on these rides? Can’t wait for the Triple 1200!
Close late and open earlier making precise lines leaning the bike immaculately !! Considering the fact also that he has an ideal bike for that narrow twisties roads plus lighter smaller and super agile and very important is 2 cylinders which works better at low RPM rather than 4 cylinders where she needs longer to feel that violent kick on your butt specially coming out the corners..... !!! But overall he deserves all the credit to make running that little monster as a Pro biker Cheers 🍻 👏 ✌ and be safe
Smooth and fast! These 129 videos are great. It makes me want to get back out there, but every time I make the trip it’s on a weekend and the crowds are unbearable. When do you go to get clean runs like this?
I've been twice with friends and we usually pick the week after the 4th of July. We head down either Wednesday or Thursday so we have Thursday and Friday with quite low traffic, then Saturday we drive some surrounding roads (the climb to Clingman's Dome is breathtaking). Sunday we drive back home to Ohio, cheers!
Monster can't convince me as a package but it is strong in tight twisties. Monster is a king in tight Thailand mountain roads and a tough job to chase.... if the rider is able

If you don't trail brake here you get left behind, specially on a bigger bike.
