you clearly know little about body position. Hanging off limits the lean angle of the bike at ANY speed. The friction forces at the tire are reduced the mor you can hang off the bike. You also optimize suspension effectiveness the less you lean the bike. You don’t have to hang off...but the more you do, the less traction circle you are using and the more chance you have if keeping the rubber down.

Of course, but you trying to learn how to optimize bike grip so you practice. This guy was going around the Tail at crazy speeds in the curves. He looked like he was on the track- exactly how you would drag your knee. Now if you said he was going too fast for the road- then you would be accurate. The more he hangs off, the wider his “chicken strip” at equivalent corner speed. That is EXACTLY what you want. I bet you are one of those guys that thinks the narrow c.s. is the sign of “rider skill” when in fact it’s the opposite. Deep down, I don’t think you know much at all about motorcycle dynamics- you’re just jealous that you can ride like him.

@@raymadani270 Nope, I am not that good but working on it. And guess how I work on my body position? I hang off my bike all the time to get used to BP....If you were half as smart, you would too but my guess is you ride straight as a board, lean your bike a crazy angles and then show off your chicken strips to other morons who don’t have a clue and boast about it.

I've been twice with friends and we usually pick the week after the 4th of July. We head down either Wednesday or Thursday so we have Thursday and Friday with quite low traffic, then Saturday we drive some surrounding roads (the climb to Clingman's Dome is breathtaking). Sunday we drive back home to Ohio, cheers!

That would be the Tail of the Dragon, a pretty well known road for bikers and car enthusiasts around North America, on the Tennessee-North Carolina border. The tail is quite twisty (318 turns in 11 miles) and all the roads around it (cherohala skyway, moonshiner 28, and any other roads) are faster with more flow. I've been twice, splitting an airbnb with 12 or so friends, total blast.

Very nice skills! Looks very fun too! A bit close to the mid line though. If you ride like that where I live you will probably crash first ride out as about 1 out of 5 cars have two wheels in your lane in the curves 😬 Very bad drivers here in Cyprus.

I think Cyprus has the most bikes hauling ass with Superbike Racer and crew tearing up those mountain roads year-round.
