Hi Don, just asking what's your opinion on Jericho series made by CBS. After being recommended by some I watched both seasons and I've genuinely liked it, 9/10 if we take away Greene's family struggles.
Add steel washers to the bag of screws , then you can enlarge the screw head area to give a better " fix " without the head pulling through ( fixing a tarp sheet to a wooden fence maybe ) as well as giving cordage a larger end to stop knots pulling up the screw head taper and coming off .
I like it! I've carried emergency tools in a couple of very old ammo cans forever... carrying on a tradition that I picked up from my dad and granddad.
I personally think that’s way better than a bag with Velcro.
Oh noes pliers on a battery terminals .... but the bag looks cool.
Organization of tools is often overlooked or put at the bottom of a prepping To Do list. These rolls look amazing.
What a coincident that you are doing a tool bag review( which as usual is awesome) and fixing a jeep. Isnt that the truth lol.
10 year old Wrangler...96000 miles.....never a problem...
Haha!
@@richardpayne9249 That would be about when a Toyota gets broken in.
I am fond of the GI green tool bag. Heavy green canvas and cotton Handles. The canvas will soak up stray oil, solvents that you don’t need on your tools your tools. The GI one is good because they have a Masonite bottom. Ok I’m just a fan of the GI one.
Great review, lots of detail.
Those both look amazing.
Love it! Price is nice for what you get, too.
After my son swapped a 5.3L LTX from a 2022 Sierra last jan into m y rubicon, its been so reliable hahaha. But alas, I think I need a new tool roll!
One big improvement is that nice brown color. I have 3 of the pack mules, but I really don't like the yellow. Truthfully, I like Cordura Nylon better, but waxed canvas is better than plain canvas for sure! Looks great!
I really wish you would start with the price point.
Nice bags, thanks for the reviews.
I found the original Pack Mule (among other things) on your channel a few years ago. I have been using it as my truck tool bag. It is unique although it has pros and cons. I would really like a Pack Mule XL. Maybe I’ll do a video about it.
I love how you laugh at how prepped you are sometimes. lol Case and point: 8:12
1:05 How often do you water your tool roll? And does it grow in size if you use fertilizer?
Just curious where are pack mules made?
I would draw a diagram of what is in each compartment and roll it up inside the bag.
Don, everyone else, everything we thought about gasoline's durability might thrown to the trashcan because of my thought process.
See, the reason gasoline has an expiration date is because of small percentage of ethanol present in fuel in order to improve its octanes absorbs moisture from the air (in Poland depending on the gasoline type is 5-10%, which translates to around 1 year).
Now, if someone wishes to do something more with it in order to improve its lifespan you need to start playing with chemistry. Because of ethanol solubility in water you can purposefully "baptise" the gas as we call it, which then you'll have to pour into a separatory funnel, in which you'll observe 2 layers, with water+ethanol layer at the bottom. Now you can separate the layers, which will give you close to 100% pure gasoline.
Now because you've just separated ethanol from the mix gasoline's quality will suffer and you may experience engine knocking and other unwanted effects. Because of that you'll have to reintroduce the ethanol into the mix before pouring the gas into your device of choice, that is nothing weaker than 95% spirit.
very cool thanks for the review
Good review, thanks for sharing, YAH bless !
Great video and thanks!
Well, I like that...
Just to be clear is this waxxed canvas?
Thoughts about an apocalypse tool roll?
I carry one on the bottom of my bugout bag. I think having a tool rool for B/E and to fix things quickly is more valuable than having a yoga mat to sleep on at night. Never have i needed a comfortable padded mat, but ive definitely needed a handful of tools. The roll comes off easy if you want to reduce the weight you carry.
I like everything about this pack but the zippers. They can break.
Just say no to plastic buckles.
While I like both kits for different purposes, this is really just a sales pitch video, which by the way is fine, just not what I was expecting.
Roaring fire sells chinesium garbage. For a company that makes tool rolls, they're thin and cheaply made. Remember when you didn't sponsor and pitch Chinese companies? Pepperridge farms remembers.
