Honestly, the theory would have never happened if MatPat played a single Mario and Luigi game.

Exactly and he said in the Star Wars Lightsaber versus Halo energy sword video that he is an only child. and using example in Mario Power tennis he clearly failed to understand that it’s friendly sibling competition.
The theory was just for fun I don't think he honestly believes some of his theories unless they're an indie horror game. Some people just ran with it either for some jokes, parody, or for story reasons. I'm pretty sure very few people genuinely believe it. Sometimes the joke exists just to parallel disney since people often compare nintendo as the video game equivalent to disney, mario is almost as popular as mickey mouse, people sometimes use mickey mouse to represent disney, and people see disney as evil so mario is used in a similar way. mostly for parody purposes.

1 I can’t belie I’ve how many people believe Mario Hates Luigi
2 People Believe That when there is a video about Mario being rude they always and I mean always believe it

1. I never believed that Mario hates Luigi. If Mario hates Luigi, then he wouldn't have helped him through out the years, but he did.
2. Sure, he did do a bad thing back in Donkey Kong 2, but through the years, Mario isn't like that anymore.

invites his friends and even enemies to go-kart racing and parties just so they can have fun
Is friends with other video game characters mainly Sonic (and other characters in the Smash Bros series)
Will go out of his way to travel 8 worlds just to save Peach not caring for his safety
Is a friend to all
Also, I feel like this comic is a jab at Matt patt mario video's he made.
To this day people still believe dorky's bull mario bits. We don't have any proof that the Goomba's and Troppas have any family's or that they themselves are not terrorists. I feel bad for Mario. That poor man is being accused of being a quote on quote monster. I love the mario characters and games and there's no way someone can proof to me that mario is a bad guy 😤

Yeah Luigi I'm a Sonic fanboy but I still respect Mario as a hero
While Mario does stomp on a bunch of things, it's important to note that everything he's stomping on is apart of an evil army that's trying to defeat him, and he has to deal with them. Mario has to take down what's practically a whole battle front to save the day, and he's pretty honorable brave to do all of this with only a few other players.
I like these dubs it gives the mario characters more depth
I'm a Luigi fan but I stand by Mario's side for this one.

This video is my defense for any Mario animation with Mario as an antagonists. There is a reason their are many debunks in Game Theory and one of these is Mario is Mental. This theory is so bad many people debunked it I think you should see their vids.
