The largest D-Day Omaha Beach Invasion Bunker Defense Ever is underway with 3000 US Soldiers doing a massive assault on the 300 German Soldiers defending Normandy. This was made using the Men of War Assault Squad 2 Robz Realism Mod base defense missions.

I’d say that Pointe du Hoc is the most interesting D-Day landing. It’s amazing what those rangers went through.
I remember one map where Daley had to protect a village so retreating convoy could escape.
I hope Daley remembers.
While he had Defended the trenches and put troops on the hay fields, he left some troops in the rear to close of a route for Tanks to cross and he mined the main bridge.
So when it finally came time to retreat there were some at and ap mines ready to do some damage.
Daley won.
That was the only tactical error in this battle.
Daley forgot to keep one squad on back up line defenses.
Then again who could've predicted those flankers 😉👍

It was the second hardest beach to capture but they still get no credit :(

General observation: With missions like this, it might be worth sending troops to resupply between waves, so they don’t run out of boom-boom at the start of a wave!
Re: targeting Higgins boats vs offloaded troops… in the first wave, if you can kill the boats, they won’t bring more reinforcements - assuming the game isn’t just re-spawning each wave of LSTs independently. So it’s really a realism question. (Obviously, if you can kill a transport before it offloads, that’s gravy on your cake!)

I think the biggest flaw of the defense was the lack of mines and that frontal position sticking out of the defenses. If the mines were placed down earlier and the front position quickly abandoned, they probably could have lasted longer. It was also probably the lack of armor as the only armor at the beach were two Sdks while the Panzer IV came little too late to turn the tide.
Nah there were over a 1000 mines
Daley you always forget to put the soldiers on automatic refill ammo and do it manually. It causes u to lose a lot of battles

I'd love to see a "Band" beach landing since this is all simulated and all, It was another beach landing planned east of the orne river, just across from the sword beach. It was apparently cancelled due to German flooding.

Should've build 2 lines after bunkers,
So you don't stake troops.
Also buy and use anti tank guns, tanks are no use in defensive mission's (in my opinion).
Put anti tank/anti infantry mines on roads.
defend Supply chain road so you don't ruin out.

You miss the 88 shots because they are RED meaning an obstacle is in the way. It will basically be guarantee if the dot is GREEN.

Not sure if this will be seen but your shots weren’t missing actually, you gotta pay attention to the Green dot, the Green dot shows where it’ll land. As long as you make sure the Green dot is where it should be, you’ll hit practically every time. Well not exactly, but you wouldn’t be missing like you did. I noticed every time it went over or under was because the Green dot was either below or above. And it always hit when the Green dot was in the red dot.
you should buy some panzers in the early game and place them in the woods for reinforcement
Run it again in hard, then medium if need be. This is epic

If nobody told you and you never found out yet, Schutze is a German troop class. Rifleman. Also the lowest rank in the SS and still lightly in use today by the Bundeswehr, though every branch has a different name for it. Signified by a single dot on the shoulder strap.
To be fair, you shouldn't be allowed to buy heavy tanks. That's just canon. Hitler himself said he didn't want any tank units moved without his approval. The D-Day landings happened in the early morning and Hitler apparently slept in until 2-3pm that day.
Also, I would never expect to win a "D-Day Landing Defence Map". The Nazis lost that fight. I'd just try to last as long as I can.

Can you do men of war clones vrs droids but you control the clones and protect yourself against waves
For the AA guns . Theres a 🔴: indicates where you are aiming, and a green dot: where its going to hit, so you can see whether you're gonna hit or not
I think Juno would be most interesting, just because it’s the only one I didn’t learn about during school, except that it was led by Canadian troops

Schütze is essentially the German equivalent to Private. Also, make sure to pronounce the "e" in german words, in English the "e" makes one of the vowels different, but German accents like "ü" or "ö" already do that for you.

If anything I think you need to like start pre defending positions farther back and I'm pretty sure you should of bought that panzer 3 when you could of but dang if this was a real life that would be a moment for the history books but you probably would of done a lot better if you could of went into houses

Hey @DaleyTactics .., how about battles to take Ft. Drum in the Philippines. You could do it multiple times, first with spanish troops defending vs US, then US troops defending while the Japanese attack (WW2, early), then finally, Japan defending vs US attack (WW2, US retaking the Philippines). Heck, you could do each from either side… and wrap in the defense of / attack upon Corregidor, Bataan, etc.
