Now I’m at the time where I finally began to notice smaller details in most characters, (like how Kazuya appeared in the very first Tekken but didn’t get pseudo-Jin flames on his pants until Tekken 4) I just noticed that even though it’s normal Jin, he has Devil Jin’s attire, he has Devil Jin’s cursed gauntlets, black and red punk shoes and a leather belt, instead of his traditional martial arts gauntlets, footguards, and Karate black belt.

this mode should've been made a standard for every tekken game. I'm playing tekken 8 now and the story mode is like 80% cutscenes and 20% fighting. many of the cutscenes are boring and would've been way more interesting if they were like hub areas that you explore on your own terms

I just figured out the enemy types in this mode. The ones that are dressed in white but also change colors later on are called Temple Gaurdians. The Jacks are Jack 4's, and the females are called Monks.
There are forward evade attacks aswell, an uppercut (don't know the name) and a spin kick (don't know the name either). Right after doing a spin kick you can add a flare kick by pressing X
I never made it past this boss, I felt so shit at it, mind u I was like about 7. I even found an area here to softlock the game before that word was a thing. Lol

I've never beaten devil within back in high School days in 2007 i got stuck on stage 4 😂 i bought another PS2 this month as an adult and bought Tekken 5 again so i can retry devil within mode all over again
i cant understand why they let this mini game movements so hard to find or combo them because jins combos are differect with the lock up button and enemys potition

No just press Square and Circle at the same time. You can also add a kick after it by pressing X or O
