Thank you! I went door wood as I do Buschcraft videos by the.feel look and knowing it’s natural material sold me,thanks for the video!greetings from Germany
I don't see how these knives cost $250+. I just don't get it. At least a folder has some machining. A fixed blade is heat treatment (which isn't magic) and basic grinding. I don't understand how they get so many people to pay that.
Much more steel, handle materials, the cost of cutting the blanks and paying people to put the knives together by hand. Bark River's prices are a little high because they are available. You could buy a custom knife for about the same money, but have to wait a long time to get your knife.
@@carzoparazzo9698 do you even know how micarta is made. It’s very cheap to make. You are falling for the marketing lies. So grinding a bevel makes you a artesian.

Both wood and micarta are my favorite handle materials. Aurora Scandi uses Cru-Wear and I love it very much
=)
Why is the scandi larger on one ?
Imo thats something that shouldn't vary with knives .
I prefer wood handles too I never had any problems with my wood handle knives I like the natural material and feel of wood and the beauty of wood .
Good choice although there not much in it, ordered one last week from Dlt and can’t wait 👍

Its expensive and micarta also, and more if its done by some artesan.

@@gilbertopadilla3611 Yup! You pay extra for those sloppy blade grinds and asymmetric handles!
