    This Filmography was honestly astonishing, so much was taught without a single word being spoken. Thank you for such a thoroughly simple breakdown: what he needs, double checking equipment, where your tie-off points are, how to stack your gear; it's all laid out like a checklist that you check off in real-time

    Good idea would be a leather flap on the top of the backpack to protect your stuff from the rain, etc. :)

      This is a great idea I just made my frame and i've been pondering where I want to go with it and I may just use this idea.

    ...lovely and useful! Excellent work!
    I adapt the gear for the kind of environment and local stuff...(...surely our Elders tried different solutions for thousands of years, and with only the best they manage to survive and strive...!)
    Basically I wear the same equipment (only 1 blanket... but that won't be enough for the peak of Winter). I bought a seax, but it turned out to be of bad quality....so I use a russian blade, in the tradition of the northern Europe puuko that is awesome, a local made handknitted wool bag, a smaller axe (like the tomahawk)...
    After all, what is really important is that you enjoy your outdoor activities, right?

    I have tested a similar wooden construction of a backpack. It works well for 5-6 km then it starts to hurt. Especially in the places where wood comes in contact with the back. In my cast, the lower part of the back. You need some kind of padding.

    • @GAUROCH2
      @GAUROCH2 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      ...I wear my "neckscarf" around my abdomen...this gives great support in greater efforts, warms my kidneys area and protects my back from that rubbing (hey, but I use old fashioned special kind of wool, like loden, (it is called "burel" in my country...) Just awesome!!!

      A bit late answer but try attaching your blanket or cloak to the inner side of the pack.

    Parece muito bom, gostei das modificações, mas ainda acho que seria melhor o modo normal de alça, pq amarrar na cintura faz diferença, pelo menos pra mim eu gostei mt

    That is awesome. I love the clothing, it is really beautiful and looks comfortable, such a pity that people don't usually wear this kind of clothing anymore. Very visually pleasing and natural materials are just lovely. I always have half a forest in my sheep fur after sleeping in the woods, haha.

      Waybread. Unleavened so it doesn't take up so much space in the pack.
