WOW; the original Norse Tiny Home! I am truly humbled. And that's from someone who has been doing the medieval thing for decades. Gradually, I got all my basic kit, which I made by hand as well. But you are MUCH better at it, I am so impressed! Oh, goodie, new projects! Talk about a "bag of holding". I especially love the implements and small bags/containers that you made!
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback 😊👍🏻 your kindness and support. I’m so glad that you like and appreciate my Viking gear grateful that your following me on my adventures here in Denmark 🇩🇰. Hope you’ll enjoy some of my other videos as well 🏕🔥🌲Tom
I would have to agree with Larry Tom your videos are always top notch and information relaxing and great quality. Me and the wife love watching your videos together
Yes mon very cool. I was a professional guide for 15 years rescues cliff and water Young people always in mischief. Taught tracking fishing food preparation traps snares building comfortable shelters map and compass planning equipment first aid. Course once the young folk have that initial experience and confidence improvisation is the next step of the wilderness experience. Your set up for sure. Simplicity is the key to it all and leaving no impact of your presence in the bush. Good stuff you do and make Wild Bill
Thank you so much Wild Bill for your wonderful feedback 😁👍🏻 I’m glad you like my video and the stuff I make and use and your support means a lot to me Thanks for coming along my friend and I hope you’ll join me again soon 🤗🏕🔥🌲Tom🇩🇰
I’ve seen most of your items but put all together they are exceedingly impressive! I think you are a living historical figure. Any Viking would have been proud to have carried what you carry in your pack!
Another great video Tom I love all your Viking gear, I am convalescing at home recently having pneumonia I am getting better and your videos cheer me very much I am watching your vids back to back all day . Thank you for not playing music during your videos I love to hear the sounds of your fire crackling away and the natural sounds of the forest the bird song in this video is particularly beautiful. Thank you so much from a freezing cold England .
Thanks Tony 🤗 from a very cold Denmark 🇩🇰 as well and I hope you’ll be well soon. I’m glad my videos can help you in your recovering and appreciate your kindness and support very much 😉🏕🔥 Tom
This man is so peaceful and kind that bugs land on his hands while he’s showcasing items and he doesn’t even bother swatting them. Truly… A perfect man
Your videos are a wonderful and relaxing escape from the stresses we live in. A good whiskey, a pipe and I sit back and enjoy. Thank you so much for doing this.
I only just found your channel, I'm looking forward to watching the others. As a viking and bushcraft enthusiast, this channel is perfect. I cannot overstate how amazing your kit was, and how well you thought out everything you would need. I never considered a horn holder that I could stake into the ground. Great work!
Thanks a lot David for your positive feedback 😁👍🏻 I’m glad you like my Viking gear and my videos, and I’m grateful that you are following me on my adventures 🏕🔥🌲🌤Tom
Hej again from N.S Canada Tom. The patience you possess to pack and lay out all your Viking gear for your viewers is admirable to say the least. I wish you a great vacation with your wife and can't wait to join you again in August. Hav en god tur Tom!

I always love seeing the gear videos. You have an amazing channel and I love the stories you tell with it. An inspiration to all who love to adventure. Thank you for these amazing videos.
A wonderful video, this gives us a glimpse into world before industry, before electricity, before airplanes, before automobiles and trucks, before gasoline, before hospitals and before cell phones and the internet, but through the internet, we can experience, in a small way, the lives of our forefathers. Thank you for this post and good luck.
Thank you so much for your feedback 🤗 Sorry but I’ve got pneumonia and haven’t been able to make a new video or answer all the nice comments I’ve got So it’ll be a standard reply but I read all the feedback and appreciate those very much. Thanks for all the kindness and support your giving me … and see you soon my friends 🏕🔥🌲🇩🇰 Tom
I love seeing your gear Tom, and I really love that you made most of it, and what you bought is from other craftsmen. So much of your gear is wonderfully designed. But I'm especially interested in your Seax and sheath. I'm left-handed and finding a left-handed sheath is no small feat. Although I have not used one I have thought that a horizontal across the body sheath would be best and most comfortable for me. Looking at how you designed your sheath, with the two belt loops gives me ideas to try to at least modify the sheaths that came with my knives so that I can at least try the across the body style to see how that works for me. I'm interested in the design of the Seax, and all knives in general. While there are some features in knives that I like or dislike and some are obvious features I've been wondering for quite a while now what is the reason or functional difference between different knife points. If I were to make a knife from a bar of metal, especially with hand tools, the Seax design would be much easier and faster than any more complicated curved, drop point blade. Since I can find flat files and bars of metal I'm thinking now that I will try this style for my first knife. Actually it will be the 2nd knife I've made as I made a knife in my high school shop class when I was a teenager. Your saw is so beautifully designed and constructed too. I'd love to see a video on that.
Thanks Donna for your feedback 😁👍🏻 it’s very interesting what your saying about knifes and I believe that your right 💪🏻 making a Seax must be an easy task and I hope you’ll succeed. You can see how I made my saw in this: th-cam.com/video/R84PQs211Ss/w-d-xo.html Hope you’ll enjoy that too my friend. Atb to you 🏕🔥🌲Tom
Tom, I have watched you develop this kit over the last few months and must say I am impressed with what you have created. You have a gift at making things like the spoons, pouches, etc. Thankyou for sharing your story with us and allowing us to see a glimpse of what it must have been like to live as a viking. I only hope the mosquitoes did not bother you and as always you are always happy to be outdoors. Enjoy your holiday and look forward to the next vlog. See you out there!
I am amazed by your selection from 'The Basics' of a rich Viking material culture. Your style and craftsmanship have added to the total appeal of the kit. Add a shelter, a change of clothing and a bit more food and one could travel with this.
Thank you Tom for showing all the items in/on your pack frame. I am going to make my Indian fry bread on an open fire sometime soon. Safe travels my friend. May God watch over you and your beautiful wife
Nice to find you again. Many things has appened since I wrote my last comment, but is a very special thing to get again your videos. I can see you have evolved more survivalist and not only bushcrafter. I think is an right election for everything has happened, so greetings from Spain and thanks for your videos and your dedication.
That’s great Matt 😁 it makes me very grateful if I can inspire you and I appreciate your feedback very much 👍🏻 Thanks for following me on my adventures my friend 🏕 Tom
Thanks for sharing your beautiful things it’s such a pleasure to watch you enjoy the things you have , you bring me peace I’m so grateful to have found your channel .
Your fire bowl reminds me of when we camped during one of California's drought years, and open fires were just too dangerous. We would take along an old metal gold pan as our 'fire bowl', but instead of a folding metal tripod we would just pound three small stakes into the ground and place the gold pan on top of them. Heat mostly rises, so those stakes could last all night before they burned down
I'll be going on my first backpacking trip in July. Ive combined skills and gear you taught me, with sime modern skills and gear from ultralight backpackers, ex-recon military personal, an old timer cowboy, and a whole slew of different people from all walks life. My gear looks like a clash from different points in history and backgrounds; and yet, for me, it all makes sense. There's so many solutions to problems others have come up with that most would never consider becasue its from a different school of thought, yet it all connects all so beautifully
Yeah that’s right 😉👍🏻and I think it’s great that you have made your own personal hiking kit 🏕🔥🌲🪓and hope you’ll have a wonderful trip out there where adventures are made 🤗🌤️🐕Tom
Hello Tom, as always, great equipment, you still need the Ulfberht sword and the helmet. Knowing your skills in working with wood, leather and materials, you will build a Drakkar Viking boat and set off on a journey around the world to visit your subscribers. You miss your companions, I can be your steersman. Greetings.
I appreciate not cutting away from your projects, no matter if it's leather working or cooking, to show the time and process, overcomingvarious obstacles... thank you
This was awesome! It's truly amazing how much of your Viking kit is hand made by you! It's beautiful work and was so nice to see it all in one place! Thank you for sharing this Viking journey with us. It is, and continues to be, entertaining and educational....and its great that its show cases outdoor skills and the beauty of nature! Thank you so much Chuck 😁 You have been with me from the start and experience the development I’ve gone through over the years 😁👍🏻 I thank you for that my old friend 🏕🔥🌲 Tom
Looks amazing! I’m slowly putting my kit together with pieces here and there. If you’re still looking for someone to make you a seax, I’ve learned to make a Damascus seax as well as traditional from my grandpa who lives in Sweden currently, I love making them so if you haven’t found someone I can email you!
Thank you so much my friend for your kind offer 😁👍🏻 but I’ve already found one that are going to make my Seax 😉 but appreciate your offer very much Thanks for coming along and joining me in the forest 🏕🔥 Tom
I love your kit, i am a lady who loves history and historical content. and i love your style of Videos it gives a lot of incite into how people use to live. I also just really love understanding this kinda stuff since it adds life to my writings.

Tom, I have been impressed with every video of yours I've ever seen. Not just your style of communication, but your natural talent with crafting, your kit, your dedication!!! Absolutely Awesome!!! I pray that one day I get to your part of the world, just to have a opportunity to sit at your fire. It would be a privilege!! Best To You ALWAYS!!! Stay Strong, Live Long!!
Thank you so much for your kind and positive feedback 😊👍🏻 I’m glad you like my gear and the things I’m making myself. Appreciate that your following me on my adventures 🏕🔥🌲Tom 🐕
AWESOME!!! Incredible Tools and Utility Items!!! Beyond your natural talent for craftsmanship it looks to be a great way to enhance your camp outings!!! Well Done!!!
Thanks so much. I needed this. It's Oct. 15th and we're just having our first hint of snow outside. I appreciate you letting me join you for your afternoon in such a beautiful location. I miss getting out like you did in this video. I have several locations here in southern Colorado, USA that are so much like in your video. I lived in the woods for a couple years with my two youngest sons. Nature just makes things right. Enjoyed you sharing your gear also. It's nice to see someone who thinks along the same lines I do. Only now I see that I have to start making many of my own sacks, containers and equipment. You inspired me. Joy and peace to you my friend and to your wife as well.
Thank you so much Jay for your kind and positive feedback 🤗 I’m grateful if I can inspire you to make your own gear 👍🏻😉 and I’m glad that you came along again and joined me on my trip to this wonderful forest See you again soon 🏕🔥Tom
Hi Tom 👋 😊 You have quite a nice collection of gadgets and gizmos! I think what I love most about your videos is how they give such a nostalgic or historical vibe. And I definitely appreciate seeing your fine craftsmanship to everything you make. Well I guess too I enjoy the cooking portion. 😆 I love it all ❤
Wow! Impressive. It kind of reminds me when I was a kid and my grandma showed me her treasures hidden in her wardrobe -in a good way off course-. Thanks for sharing
Hi Tom, I enjoyed the video. It is wonderful to see how much homemade gear you have: and all beautifully crafted. I think it must surely be what many vikings would have done. You are very talented. I like to see your pennant up designating your camp. Enjoy your summer vacation. I will be looking forward to another video when you return.
I'm so impressed with all of your gear, how much of it you made, how functional, and how organized it is. I've seen you make quite a bit over the months, but looking at it all at once is amazing. I love everything, especially how authentically made it all is and in keeping with Viking history. Awesome!! Always wonderful to see you cook a delicious meal in the forest on a beautiful day. Enjoy your vacation with your lovely wife! 🌲🥩☕😉
Honestly I think I've just found my new favourite channel. I LARP and my faction is Viking/Norscan based and I've been looking for ideas for new kit / trinkets etc - just this video alone has really helped, thank you!
That’s wonderful to hear my friend 😁👍🏻 I’m glad you found my channel and enjoy my videos. If you get any questions … don’t hesitate to ask 😊 and welcome onboard my little Viking longboat 🇩🇰 Tom
Thank you so much for your kind and positive feedback 🤗 And welcome to my channel I hope you’ll enjoy some of my other videos too my friend and if you have any questions … don’t hesitate to ask 🏕🔥🌲 Tom
Tom, beautiful gear and so unique. Must be awesome to have made at least half of it yourself. I know you are trying not to pay attention to your gear so much because trips and bushcraft are not about gear necessarily and you are mostly trying to enjoy nature but I understand that it has to have huge sentimental value. Can't wait for airtime! 👍🪓
Thank you so much Chris for your kind words 😊👍🏻 that means a lot to me my friend and I hope you’ll enjoy my Viking gear video and looking forward to your feedback 🏕 Tom
You have a beautiful collection of hand made hiking/Camping gear to enjoy special time alone in the great outdoors forest! Love your channel, be safe, stay healthy, & God Bless everyone!

There is such a wealth of knowledge in your videos. I love to create things as well and you have truly inspired me to continue this winter. I have a lot more of your videos to watch.
Thank you Tom for these relaxing moments you share with us, there is a belief that when you sit on mother earth and walk with a slow pace and listen you get connected to the vital energy and the voice of the ancestors. Harmony , Patience is the pace of nature, walk in it's path. 🚲🌱🌲🌸🪔

Handmade gear is the best. I will have to look up the links you posted on the making of them. Thank You for all your hard work. Give Cornelius a scratching for me.
Beautiful work, and a great kit. I must say as well, you have a nice tunic, I lole the color. I too enjoy making bread outdoors. Enjoy life and be safe.
Thanks a lot my friend for your kind feedback 😁👍🏻 I’m glad you like my Viking gear and videos and grateful that your following me on my little adventures 🏕🔥🌲🐕 Tom
This takes a lot of practice to accomplish what you have done here, to sit in one place and multitask without having to get up and back down and back up and down and so on and so on. Lots of practice and great organizing skills and of course a great knowledge of what you are trying to achieve as your final outcome. To this I say you have done a very fine job and I am very impressed with your equipment and your use of it and your knowledge, and I really like the lack of jabbering and just the noises of the forest. I enjoyed very much and thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words 🤗 and for following me on my little adventures. I’m so glad you like my videos and the gear I make and appreciate every time you come along 🏕🔥 Tom
Your videos are always so peaceful. I really like your gear. It’s easy to see how much love and attention you have put into each piece. Your designs are excellent and I’m sure they are being copied all over the world. Have a nice vacation with your wife and be safe wherever you go.❤️🐝🤗

Thank you so much my friend for your kind offer 😁👍🏻 but I’ve already found one that are going to make my Seax 😉 but appreciate your offer very much

Thank you so much Jay for your kind and positive feedback 🤗
I’m grateful if I can inspire you to make your own gear 👍🏻😉 and I’m glad that you came along again and joined me on my trip to this wonderful forest

Hi Tom 👋 😊

Hi Tom, I enjoyed the video. It is wonderful to see how much homemade gear you have: and all beautifully crafted. I think it must surely be what many vikings would have done. You are very talented. I like to see your pennant up designating your camp.

Thank you so much Chris for your kind words 😊👍🏻 that means a lot to me my friend and I hope you’ll enjoy my Viking gear video and looking forward to your feedback 🏕

You have a beautiful collection of hand made hiking/Camping gear to enjoy special time alone in the great outdoors forest! Love your channel, be safe, stay healthy, & God Bless everyone!

Thank you Tom for these relaxing moments you share with us, there is a belief that when you sit on mother earth and walk with a slow pace and listen you get connected to the vital energy and the voice of the ancestors. Harmony , Patience is the pace of nature, walk in it's path. 🚲🌱🌲🌸🪔

I’m so glad you like my videos and the gear I make and appreciate every time you come along 🏕🔥
