Aloha Relle from Maui! Love the recipe! Used all your ingredients except used slow cooker instead of instapot and Foodland get the spare ribs cut up already 😂 broke da mouth! Mahalo plenny fo sharing 🤙🏾
Oh emmm geeee... THIS! Lol Im known for getting small kine irrated when something is called "Hawaiian" just because it has pineapple, so of course its now become a big joke to my haole husband and MIL. I once reminded him it was culture day at our sons daycare and he asked if he could just pack a pineapple in his bottle bag and call it a day🤦♀️. Ok, since I actually dont have any on hand, does this for reals need the pineapple though? Also, and I may just not be remembering correctly from when my Grandma used to make this, but does anyone recall there being ketchup in this recipe before? Aloha from FL and thanks for another great recipe from home, sis!
OMG yay!!! I’ve been following you on Instagram and have made a few of your recipes. Had no idea you had a TH-cam channel even though I’m here on it 24/7 lol. Yayayayayya!!!! So excited. Hello from Vegas!
I'm gonna try this one! I really like that you took the time to speak about pineapple not being Hawaiian. Drives all locals crazy & I feel like no one listens lol.
Aloha and MAHALO!! My grandparents brought this recipe back with them after they honeymooned in Hawai’i and .. well.. she changed the pork to beef ribs and her process was a little different.. she made a paste with the sauce ingredients except for the pineapple juice, coated the ribs with the paste, browned them, and then covered them with the pineapple juice always baked them in the oven… the pineapple was added on top in the last 20 minutes.. a major undertaking …but it was always what I asked for on my birthday, my favorite, thank you so much for sharing, I don’t have an instapot, but maybe one day I will. YOU… are AMAZING with the way you explain everything clearly and concisely.. and then that little history segment, that was brilliant.. liked and subscribed! MAHALO!
Looks so good. I been watching all your videos because my husband thinks he'll be stationed in Hawai'i next! My family and I are big into breakfast, do you have any favorite island recipes?
I'm finally going to try my instapot😁😄Thanks for the encouraging recipe❣
You got this!
Meeean! Get bone inside the one you made?
Thanks. Yes mine had bone.

The pineapple adds a touch of sweet and tang. I like it with it. Never tried it without. If you try it let me know.

@@KeepingItRelle I made your recipe last night. It was a winner. No leftover. Mahalo for the recipe and I look forward to making more.
Looks yummy!! Need to get done of those instant pots! 😘
I love my Instant Pot. So many yummy dishes.
Aloha shoyu or Kikkoman? Sometimes it makes a huge difference.
Haha. I'm an Aloha fan.
Mahalo sista, the best I ever made .
I'm glad you like it
Can you use pork belly instead without the bones.
Sure.
looks yummy, I don't have an Instant Pot, but I do have a crock pot, do you think the recipe would work with that?
You can make this in the Crock Pot as well.
@@KeepingItRelle thank you
